thank goodness. i have friends who have worked for monsanto and the company was very good to them, but their business practices on the whole are horrific, and i am glad that common sense is resisting big money.

Monsanto is as evil as any corporation gets, and that's saying something. I am happy to see them have a loss on any front.

What can you say about a company that encourages reliance on them for seed? How do you think any individual farmer, unless they band together, can be self reliant? http://www.rense.com/general38/saver.htm I'm sure the ancients saved their own seed from year to year. Why aren't farmers doing the same?
