I have heard about some research that states that plus-sized women have a higher sex-drive due to hormonal differences (smiles) This could cause women who are more sexually active – broadly speaking – to become more active in a public BDSM community such as play parties. I have to ask about this research. It was not my personal experience when I was plus-sized. At one point I was pushing 220, and probably needed about a size 18. I am now comfortably in a size 10, and at the rate I am going, I will be in a size 8 before too much longer. I have been reaching my sexual peak as I lost the weight. For me being fit helped my sex drive, others mileage may vary. I think it is wonderful for people of any size to enjoy their body and themselves just the way they are. quote:
And if you've never been with a plus-sized gal, well I guess if you're over 40, this might be the time to start broadening your horizons. After all… Big Girls ROCK! So do skinny ones, firm ones, fat ones, bald ones, muscular ones, short ones and tall ones. Don't all women rock? Why not expand your horizons into a different ethnic group, or a different religion.. or in any other way? Why make it all about the size? There are many beautiful women that are not what the society finds the "norm" for beauty... there is a place for all. I think threads like these eventually place pride on a physical attribute, and while I can understand the emotion of being passed up because one is overweight, at the same time isn't it going overboard the other direction to laude being plus-sized? The inner stuff is so much more important in my mind. I lost weight and got fit because of me, not because society thought it was more beautiful. I wanted to feel good. I didn't feel good physically. You haven't put down the thin women, but if this thread holds true to form from the others I have seen, the denigrating comments leveled at thin women are soon to come. And no one will make notice of it because it is somehow ok to put down a "skinny bag o bones" than it is to put down someone for being fat... and both are wrong in my mind
