A while ago came across a photo of a kneeler of sorts that had been home made. It wasn't the traditional kneeler slanted bench that's commonly found but rather an angled small piece of furniture that slightly elevated the bottom and legs when a person is in a kneeling position while leaving their knees on the floor. It was meant to make kneeling/kneeling while bound for extended periods of time more comfortable. I'd love to find this photo again so I can try to figure out how to construct one. I'd appreciate any help! Miss A

What you're describing sounds a little like a seiza bench, used for meditation. If you're looking to make one, there are plans for one here. ~stef
