I am curious as to what toys are allowed on an airplane?? Such as but not limited to floggers, crops , whips , gags , rope etc?? What is the best way to carry theese items??

In your suitecase everything is allowed (because it is out of reach). But buy the batteries localy..then at least it doesn't look like anything close like a bomb.

Put them in your checked luggage.  Put each item in a large ziploc bag so that if your bag is searched, they're not touching your... stuff.

You should be okay with most items if they are checked in your luggage rather than a carry on bag.

I travel frequently with toys checked and have never had a problem. If you have a concern, you can always pre-ship your toys to your final destination and they'll be there when you arrive.

You'll also want to just purchase your lube at your destination. (That pesky <1oz. fluid rule) Oh, and just be prepared mentally for the scanners to pull your stuff out into the open in front of everyone. Some of these jerks seem to love embarassing law abiding citizens. (Bordom on the job must be an issue for them.)

Check it all rather than risk the embarrassment of a search of your carry on luggage. I brought sex toys, a flogger and handcuffs to europe without any problems this way.

Also it's illegal to have handcuffs in Australia which don't have a safety catch... of course people do but I wouldn't be caught importing them. No idea about this in other countries...

airlines people really do not handle checked baggage with much care at all, and your items are much more vounerable to being stolen when they're checked and out of site.

Personally I'm not embarrased at all to have sex toys in my carry on luggage. if they want to look go ahead.

The employee's are often more embarrased than the person(s) carrying the gear.

Plus the stuff's seen anyway on the x ray search.

I have a small suitcase I check, which has all the toys in it, seperate from my other luggage.  I haven't used clear plastic bags because I was afraid of heat and melting of some of them (is that silly?).  I put a note that said "Sex Toys" in the suitcase, that can be seen as soon as it's opened (I added a smiley face, for fun).

Only once there was a problem in that one of Master's floggers was not in the suitcase when we arrived.  It was one I had made specifically for him, which is unfortunate.

I did travel with toys on carry-on, once, and my bag was searched.

i have brought toys in my carry on just to see the reaction of the staff members lol. however its up to the security if your toy is a toy or a weapon, if in doubt call the airline and ask for specifics on them in carry on bags, if your worried about them being taken have i inventory of items so if there lost it can be proved and replaced sooner. as for the local rules and laws always check and see what is not allowed. i hope this helps you.

If you are uncomfortable putting your toys on the plane...might I suggest just UPS/Fedex your toy bag/box.  If you are going to a hotel, just send it directly to the hotel and when you check in, the concierge will have it onsite waiting for you.

I used to send heavy items ahead of time instead of lugging it to the airport...I never had a problem with theft or misplacement in 4 years of constant flying and I was always able to track it...plus no one got into your bag and was messing with your items.

Glee :)
