I'm reminded of an old "Odd Couple" scene where Oscar orders a pizza with fried eggs on it. It arrives with a note from the pizzeria: "Good luck pisan."
I like My eggs scrambled, not fried...So I tried a scrambled egg on pizza. Actually...Not bad.
For Me, pizza is an edible plate. I like what I refer to as "garbage pie." Just about anything/everything you want to pile on is ok with Me. With the exception of anchovies and any type of fruit. Meat, veggies, chicken, etc...Pile it on!
My little girl and I do have our favorite toppings when we order together. But when I'm on My own...LOOK OUT! I want the kitchen sink.
Just for the record...If I have to eat "franchise" pizza, I'll go with Papa Johns. Thankfully, they're not open at this hour.

In Australia, the pizza with the egg is actually called "The Aussie". YUK.[:'(]

If I see the words "pizza" and "hut" even anywhere near each other in the same sentance on this thread again, I will be traveling around the country setting such sacrilige right.

The same goes with mexican food...on pizza...ugh.

Or the damn mention...no, the mere thought of not eating your crust.

Someone with the boot blood within them, even sicilians...back me up on this.

I'm Sicilian so I know these things.
Pizza needs to be normal not funky.  Cheese, sauce, thin crust (but not floppy) and maybe some sausage on it.
And yes...the crust is the best part.

There is only one pizza for me, home-made crust, mozarella cheese, rich tomato sauce and shredded basil leaves ..

i love (and miss dearly) the simple cheese slice from a real New York pizzeria...especially in Brooklyn...but i have to admit the best pizza i ever had was in Germany...who knew???

As long as you bring good pizza with you... There was a great Italian place when I lived in vegas that had pizza to kill for

oh, and if we're talking beer to go along with said anchovies and jalapenos...it needs to be the darkest, muddiest beer i can get my hands on...

After a pizza like that, the beer is probably the only thing you're gonna get your hands on.

hahaha!  that is awesome subbie, thanks for getting a laugh out of me before coffee!

i don't care for the chains, but i do enjoy the calzone from the "Hut" and i rather liked the take and bakes from "Papa Murphy's" but i haven't seen them since i left Cali.

Where I live, fish pizza has a whole page on the menu. It's the most sold kind of pizza too. It's not that wrong. Try it [:)]
