to go back and change one thing on your life, what would it be? Why? and how would your life be today as a result?

I would finish my education and obtain a degree, most likely in business or finance, something that would give me a lot of options.  My life would be more comfortable because I would make more money with less effort.

i think that i would go back and change the fact that i hated my real mother for so long and let a lot of good years go by.  It took years to realize things weren't entirely her fault, that she was a victum of her upbringing and abuse.  i think that we would have a better realationship and i would be more tolerant of her today instead of so distant.

I would change going out back to smoke just a few minutes ago. I slipped on the ice, slid down the stairs, burnt the skin off my left shoulder on the railing, bruised my butt pretty good, and cracked my head. Owwww.

I would also change the fact that this is about as graceful as I get.

I would have moved from a big city to a small town much sooner.  A better quality life exists in a small town.

I'd change my education.  I have a PHD in a field I don't care to be in...so something
more workable for me.

I would not have taken out a student loan for a Masters degree. I even had all my BA loans.... man did I goof.

I thnk I would have gone easiier on my body-- per the partying.  I would have been more outgoing sooner then the 9th grade...

What I dont regret-
travelling while young.  Going to college. exploring life.  buying my current house

I would have gotten my Master's. Just couldn't face anymore school after college and wanted a break. However if I had done that, then I wouldn't have married my ex nor had my offspring and I can't imagine life without them.

I would have tried to save more money so that I could help my parents out now that they are living on social security. I pay most of their bills, but I just wish I had more so they could have much nicer things.

I would have actually listened to my parents.  Really really listened to them.  I would have gotten my degree when I was supposed to, traveled the world more then I have.. not met half so many bad people.......... and definetly not be in the mess I was in today.

I would have a degree (maybe a Masters or PHD), I'd probably be married to a wonderful guy, my own massively large house - owning my own apartment overseas.. taking summer trips around the world.. spending Xmas in London....

life could have been a million times better............ if only I had listened.....

I would toss karma to the wind and go back and take my sister-in-law up on her offer to run over "the creature" (my ex) with her Suburban when he had a million dollar life insurance policy.

I would follow my original life's plan and joined the Coast Guard, and then used that as a springboard for a career in the Customs Office. My life would be radically different today, and if I only get to change one thing, best to play the card well.

Not a single thing. I am happy with me, it has taken me my whole life to be happy with me, if I changed something, then it may change things so that I am not the person I am today. Even my mistakes have taught me things that I may not have learned otherwise.
