You might want to try posting this in a group that really encourages scene reports. However, you will still get comments for not using paragraphs simply because if it's hard to read most people, including me, won't bother. If it's worth writing, it's worth making it easy to read.

The problem is... there are some excellent writers on this site, who occasionally post something they've written here - and it's interesting and different (check Aakasha, for one - I think it's her?). You need an awful lot of work to even come close to writing something that's more than the run-of-the-mill "I did this, he did that, I did this, he did that, we sucked/fucked/dripped/soaked blah blah blah". Find a good thesaurus and instead of giving the mundane physical descriptions, try inserting more of the actual emotion (if there actually is any, that is). Let us get inside your head more - that's way more interesting than factual stuff about what's being shoved up your pussy (IMO). And yes, paragraphs and variable sentence construction definitely help.
 
Lesson learned hopefully - put it in your journal, or if you try again and want to ask for some constructive criticism.... we'll be waiting.

My God-I would NEVER treat a site newbie the way I've been treated over this thread. Have people ever heard of just not replying if they don't like the post? Or at least being halfway human about it??? There's constructive criticism, & then there's just plain meanness, which is what these replies to my post have been. I read a thread by another newbie that plainly said that some of the things they had read here were just "sickening". Hell-that guy was all-out criticising the entire lifestyle, but the replies to his post were MUCH friendlier & said with much more tact than these replies! What kind of people ARE you???? I apologize for posting such a badly written, boring, "vanilla", useless thread, ok??? Don't worry-I won't be doing it again! But for fuck's sake, can some of you at least try to act decent??? You don't have to be assholes to get your point across.

sigh...again...this is the internet, not therapy.  If you post here seeking validation, you're going to be disappointed.  If you post here recognizing that like in any group of people there are some you won't like and some you will, some you won't learn from and some you will, some that are quite insane and some that aren't you may find some knowlege and make a few friends.  Telling people to f off implies you are really wanting to please the internet which is an impossible task and really only alienates you from those you may actually connect with (not to mention encourages more snark).

The point is you are taking it WAY too personally.  It's really not.  Humor is a form of expression here.  I'm sorry you expected something else, but this is not limited to just you at all.  Hang in there and you will connect with people but lay down the shield and sword first .

I DO realize that not everyone here will like me, nor will I necessarily like them......but there's such a thing as common decency that a lot of people here don't have. I've been to several of the rooms here to chat, & have found NOTHING but friendly people. LOTS of them. But here, on the message boards, its completely different. I'm not out to please anyone, on the net or otherwise, as i'm not ecactly a people person........but I really don't think decency is too much to ask. After all, I've seen quite a few threads on these boards that I myself found absolutely terrible, so I've either gone ahead without replying, or at least been decent about my reply. See what I mean?

Status: offline 		I'm pretty sure there are many here that would laugh at you calling me decent.  I understand what you are saying, however, I think saying f off and that type of response only encourages more humorous responses.  I'm not saying try to please them, I'm saying don't take everything personally and if it is really personal, ignore it.  None of the posters here that I can see were trying to slight you personally.  The thread was a bit off and that's just the response many like that get.  Honestly, none of them know you personally and most of them I can tell you are fairly compassionate people.  They are just being silly.  Try not to get your feelings hurt over inane humor and hang in there.
