I have to admit I wasn't sure of what you meant by this response. All other negative posts aside, what exactly did you mean? I'd really like to know.

Greetings luvdragonx,

I respond to this with the sole purpose of answering your question. This is not meant to hijack or steer the thread back off topic or toward the flames and animosity my mere name seems to generate.

Now.....what I meant was simple: Take buying a car for example. If you go to a lot, and buy a car without checking it out, or taking it for a test drive, you literally will "get what you pay for". If it's a cheap (monetary) buy, more than likely it's a cheap (performance) car. "Shop cheap, get cheap."

To apply that to the context I was using in this thread, you will get all kinds here. Although it would be refreshing and nice to have everyone be quality people, that's just unrealistic. You place yourself on a public setting, with everyone else in that same setting, you are going to get the dregs with the diamonds. So.......as with a car.......check people out, take them for a "test" drive.........or you will get exactly what you pay for. In this case, your payment comes in the form of time and energy put into learning about someone. Less time spent equates to cheap shopping. And that equates to cheap goods. Hope that clears it up.

Raven

Thanks, Raven.

I figured that's what you meant, and I agree. It is unreasonable to assume that everyone you meet in a public forum is of the 'quality' you want. It does sometimes take the investment of time and energy to discover those people. Other times you get lucky. [:)]
