i have one "chirala" (my 4-year-old great niece can't quite say chihuahua) & Jack Russell Terrier mix, named Spike the Amazing Wonder Dog...Spike was feral in New Orleans when Katrina struck...the rescue organization from the town i lived in brought back 18 dogs for adoption...nobody could catch Spike, so the president of the organization made him her "special project"...needless to say, she won & i adopted him about 3 weeks after she caught him...when i got him, he knew nothing about being a pet, i had to teach him everything...i taught him how to play, i taught him what toys are for--he still doesn't see the fun in balls, though--i taught him how to do all the normal domesticated canine things...& i had never been able to train a dog before, so he has taught me too...we've been together nearly every moment since i brought him home in October, 2005...he's now my co-driver on the truck...his best friend was a pit bull named Coco, who we had to take to a home in South Dakota because we weren't allowed to keep her in our apartment...damn racists!!!

in April, the Vet said he could probably live another 6 months before his liver, heart &/or lungs would give up...Spike has proven him wrong & appears to be here for the long haul.....

We have three Lovebirds, two Australian Rosy Bourke parrots, one Senegal parrot, one Cockatiel and one American Budgie.

2 Shih Tzus and 4 indoor cats. They have confused each other. The dogs like to lay across the top of the couches and the cats roll over to have their stomachs rubbed.

I have a velvet male, about 5ft 7", lovely to train ;) oh and a pussycat by the name of Tiger too :P

4 dogs

Nikki 12 year old America Eskimo

Sunny 11 year old ex racing greyhound -- retired due to blowing a hock

Maya 6 year old greyhound --who bombed out of racing school due to extremes fears, would turn around on the track to run back toward the starting gate, which can become the cause of deadly collisions when running at top speed, so an automatic ban from racing.

I have a jack russell/ beagles mix her name is daisy and a corgi/australian shepherd mix and his name is taylor

Miss May West - my mix breed, looks like a white german shepard with blue eyes and a husky type tail

They are my girls....I'm going to post their pics on my profile right now. Might as well, they are so spoiled, there's no room on the bed for me to go to sleep!!

American Pitbull terrier who is red/white and sweet as can be. A fawn colored pekingese who thinks he is a junkyard dog and a red cat named Vlad who is a mischevious little turd.

i have three cats. A pure black one named Crimson (my daughter named him, lol) who was a rescue kitty and only has half a tail that is kinked, he is also a boobie cat, loves to lay on the boobs. A black and white rescue kitty named Teeny Tiny, not so tiny anymore, now it is more like an oxymoron!, eats all the damn time! And my third a rescue kitty, pretty little thing, moslty white calico that purrs just by looking at her and its so loud! Right now, they are taking over my love seat, leaving me a small piece of ass space on the very edge, i am so lucky!

we have several pets... well a mini zoo of sorts

I have a new puppy: Toy Australian Shepherd. Her name is Shane.
5 ferrets: Haiku, Auku, Pepper, BayBay & Laura (the last 3 are rescues I took in over the last year or so)
& 17 rats (some were rescues as well)

Oh & a 75 gallon tank with lots of fish
