"I thank God for every day he lets me be in my chosen lifestyle, and so will my slaves.[sm=whoa.gif] - MasterGcs " So this is the tagline/signiture at the end of the OP's post. My question is.... Why does he CARE what other peoples 'chosen lifestyle' is? Seems like its going to become harder and harder to find people your age who fit your 'lifestyle' as the decades go on, no matter WHAT kind of lifestyle that is. Young people have always tweaked what came before and reincorporated it. Some young people are traditonalists and read the Marquee De Sade, some young people listen to Harry Potter off their blackberry while driving down the road. ALT.COM and Collarme don't 'disintigrate' the lifestyle-but if its your only outlet it might seem that way-the internet has always been a differnt social world than real life. They just mix up several 'twue' lifestlyes together with a touch of myspace and all the posers (of every variety) the internet has always had everywhere. right or wrong, Subcultures and lifestyles have always changed with time-its maybe the only constant there is to subcultures and lifestyles. Rock 'n Roll didn't 'disintigrate' as Elvis evolved into the Beatles evolved into Nirvanna evolved into ect., it just grew into something that fit into a newer generation. But nothing is stopping the older generations, and younger fans alike, from getting together to talk about what a great guy elvis was. If you're going to scene parties at trendy nightspots or contemporary dungeons run by twenty and thirty-year old pros, than obviously these things arn't going to be stuck in the seventies. You have your old gaurd behind closed doors (as it always, mostly, was and where it still thrives, as I understand), I'll have the D/s relationship which makes my Madame happy. -edited because I often spell like I'm writing a resume to become the villiage idiot.
