i don't usually care about water temperature (i can take either way), get wet, wash my hair while the shampoo is still in i wash my face, put in the conditioner usually rubbing the ends of the hair, while the conditioner is set in i wash body head to toe. Then i shave on every other day. i actually just finished when i saw this post.

So ... how do you shower (and I know who pees in the shower already)?  I mean...

A lady once told me she teaches hers how to wash like this:
start with your face, wash as far down as possible.
Go to your feet and wash as far up as possible
Then wash possible.

and you get extra points if you forward pix of the showering...
I'm just saying...

I start with my hair, someone has to upbraid it..Most days I shower alone but some times I want a back scrubber,Some days I take a bath with company just for fun oh I digress, back to the shower,Hair shampooed takes a while to condition, then down to possible and down to the feet.I take time checking my feet since I am a debetic..Rinishing off ,turns the water up to as hot as I can stand and lets my ol'back have some time under the massager...

how long is your hair?

Sorry guys, i'm near place that was on the highest water restrictions possible in Australia (Goulburn NSW) until recently for months. To read of people regularly spending an HOUR in a shower! Is such a contrast to what was recommended to reduce water consumption ... shower by wetting the body, lather up, rinse off.  Shaving from the basin.  Pubs were serving beer in plastic cups, - no washing glasses.  No watering of anything outside, (lawns, gardens, paths, cars,).  Toilets - if it's yellow let it mellow if it's brown flush it down (with water saved from the bath/shower/clothes washing)!

Sorry to be a dampner on this - but water is a precious thing ... and it will be a harder to obtain - use it wisely.

i always start with my hair since dealing with these weird curls takes the most amount of time.  Then its working my way down... taking an extra bit of time with the fun bits, after all that is done i go back up to finish dealing with my hair.

now whats that old line in a movie...can i bring a packed  lunch and watch lmao....

Sure you can... though my idea of "fun bits" and yours might differ a bit

WE are lucky to have plenty of water here in the mountains but the folks around us have been cutting back...I can still have my long hot showers without too much worries..We have wells, a small lake and plenty of ponds and creeks on the Circle C.....

Hair first so the conditioner has as long as possible to stay in. I shave my legs last. So I guess it's top to bottom.

This is typically 45 minutes to an 1 hour.

Ok, I'm very jealous...I want your hot water heater! I usually run out around the 15-20 minute mark *sigh*...

Hmm....wash hair, rinse, repeat (hair's too damn long), then condition.  While conditioner sets, I wash top to bottom using a loofah then shave (legs, armpits, possible...in that order), then rinse the conditioner out and hope I've not missed any shaving spots due to the hot water running out too quickly!
