Status: offline 		I am not sure if this is the right area for this post, so if it's not Mods, please feel free to move it.

I have only posted two threads in my short time here on Collarme, mainly because of lack of ideas. I feel compelled to post this one though.

The internet alot of times (especially in forums, smiles) is portrayed in a negative connotation because of fakes, posers, wannabes, folks out to take advantage of others, etc. I have just got to share some of my experiences during the last two days (no, this is not a rant, just the opposite).

I live in Southeast Alabama, and Katrina struck relatively near our area. It has amazed me, and caused me so much personal gratification, the number of members of this and other sites I am a member of, that have personally emailed me with genuine concern about Me and Mine, and inquiring to see if there is anything they can do to help us. This is not only about this site, but others, and all are adult sites. These are not even necessarily members that I have privately emailed or conversed with, some are members of forums such as these and on other sites, where a personal exchange has never taken place before now. I want to thank everybody, and just remind everyone, yes, we should be careful on the internet, but along with the "bad" folks, there are ALOT of wonderful ones!!

Status: offline 		I am sorry I didn't notice where you lived till now. If I had, I would have been concerned too. You are one of my faves here. I enjoy your sense of humor. I hope this disaster leaves you unscathed. Hell, I wish it could leave EVERYone safe and sound. I guess that's asking a bit much, though.

Bravo! In my experience on the Internet I have found more genuine people than I have bad ones. The Internet gets a black eye due, in part, to the media coverage but most of all its black eye comes from the fact that it is easier to bitch about something bad than it is to talk about something good.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and those suffering in the wake of this terrible storm.

With all the flickering flames going on collarchat I just HAD to say thanks to all...unfortunately sometimes it is disasters such as this (which gratefully spared us and all we know) to remind us what's important. It was a wonderful reminder to myself as well.
