this is a short but sweet poem of mine that has been published....not really the first one i wanted to share but i lost most of my work when my puter died a while back and i am having trouble finding the hard coppies...hope ya'll like...
I am not here to deny you.
I am not here to restrict you.
I am not here to confine you.
I am here to open your mind
And I am here to free your soul.
You love me, yet you fear me...
But not in the way you fear something scary
More like in the way you fear the unknown
And every little insecurity, inefficiency, and untruth
Is taken away, and torn down in time
And then in its place, I put my love.
When your confidence builds,
I then step back, and let your light shine through.
While the world is amazed, I rest assured
In my dominance, you've found your submission,
And you are whole...
