Concrete jungles are INCREASINGLY at risk for flooding there is no where for the water to go several years ago San Antonio had flooding 12-14 foot in places ....... Point it this is a NATURAL disaster and the kids have not one damn thing to do with the BUILDING codes ......... if nothing else for god sakes think of them and quit ACTING like one

Your acting as if I haven't made a donation or raised a finger to help. Why are you making this out as if I'm saying to leave them out there to die? I don't live in Houston anymore so I can't be at the astrodom. However, Verizon Wireless is taking donations. For every donation you make cash wise, Verizon will match it two to one. Thus far, ABC news reported that the RED CROSS has taken in $90 million in donations for New Orleans. Way to go American People. After it's all said and done, I hope that the Levey of New Orleans get's built right this time.

The right way to build the levee was not to build it in the first place. It was the levees, more than anything else, that destroyed the surrounding wetlands and left New Orleans vulnerable. People have been saying this for years.

Hey! You forgot tonado proof houses in the Midwest and flood proof homes along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. Oh, and we better mandate earthquake proof homes all along the west coast (anybody remeber the San Andreas Fault?) and of course we have to have totally fire proof homes wherever there is a mountain!

I guess Fang must live someplace that is real safe and cozy.
