you can ask for a hug everyday if you need it, no shame, we all have bad times. I'm still have bad days after losing my mother last month and having her funeral on the morning of Christmas Eve. I;ve giving and taking hugs lately. We all have challenges in life. I heard the expression God doesn't give you more then you can handle and without trying to piss anyone off I say that is horse crap. We accept the challenges in life and keep moving forward. I don't believe God has anything to do with it (not trying to start a debate and I won't respond to anyone that feels I have offended their religious beliefs) - I think its a basic human instinct to survive. So have a hug. Watch the horizon and the sun will rise bringing a new day with new opportunities and challenges.

Hello sexyred, now close your eyes and just imagine that someone big soft warm and.. well, er cuddly is giving you a big hug.. Don't let the experience get you down, even though the job searching especially when it comes to offices can be soul-destroying.. Look at it this way, from what I read from your OP they're losing far more out of the deal than you are. I don't know what it is about people in offices.. is it the lighting? The glass they use for the windows? Something they add to the watercooler or coffee machine? Many years ago I sold advertising over the phone in Central London on viewdata and teletext. My boss trained me to sell, I made good money, and he always said "Good sales people care about people, bad sales people care about results." I wish you all the best, and I guess you know this and don't need me to write it, but I will anyway, that every no and every failure brings you closer and closer to a success. the thing that has gotten me through times like youre going through right now is remembering that everything in life has always worked out just as it was supposed to, its just not always easy to see what is meant to be when youre in a down time like you are. i am sure there is a door somewhere that will open for you, because of this, and then it will all be all right. good luck

No job loss could ever compare with the loss of a mother, but thank you for your kind words. I thank everyone who posted last night and today; we joke around so much here and I want to say that you all really have helped make me a feel a bit better. Funny how we always say how you should not let pixels on a screen affect you negatively, but when they are nice words, they really can affect you positively; at least I am taking positive thoughts from them! Yeah, i know....i'm going to hell......But, i figure i gotta do what i can to stay in touch with Ya'll...... *edited to add......On a serious note red, being unemployed the last 2 1/2 months has allowed me to study for this exam that i will take Tuesday (AGGGHHH SOMEONE HELP ME!!!) which i frankly would have put off a few more years if i hadn't gotten fired....And on the positive side, i'm currently applying and interviewing for jobs in His town, so we will be closer together...heh...i say fuck em, get a better higher paying job, and send them some flowers telling them thanks!!! :P
