sometimes i do, and sometimes He does actually. but then i get im's asking me why i'm 'going goth' and how He doesn't want me to do it to please Him. but yeah there are times i wish i could kick out of hardass acadamic activist mode and just be well fluffy.

and then there are times He says He doesn't like a certain bra or color of nail polish and i tell Him that until He wears them it's not His call.

i have a mans job and i get dirty...forget about having nice nails, it just isn't possible with what i do.  i wear jeans and t shirts and steel toed boots to work and my hair is pulled out of the way, i do still wear small earrings and do my make up and smell good so that helps me feel a little girly still and not so much like "one of the guys".  i am changing jobs in a few months and i'll be able to dress up and do my hair so that will be a nice change.

i love it when a dominant likes me to be girly because to begin with i love being girly  for me.  i suppose if i ever had a dom want me to be less girly, i'd struggle with it because that isn't who i am on the base level.

Funny. I do absolutely nothing in terms of nail care and dressing up. I wash my hair and comb it and put it in a pony tail and I buy some cheap lotion for my face.

Recently Master has told me to get a mani pedi though. I was so surprised to hear that he cared.

I don't either mom loves to go get her nails done and it's like 10 bucks an then the minute she does dishes it's all messed up and looks ugly again. that's often  a one day of nice nails an weeks of ugly scraggly looking nails.

The reason I would want a manicure is to fix some of the dried damadged skin around my cuticals, and to get rid of some of the painful hang nails. I don't care about color or nothing I just want the nice treat of having my hands rubbed an pampered lol.
Manicures typically are done by soaking your hands in soapy water for a long time, *well they were last time I saw one done*and I think it's ass backwards, because that's how our hands get dry an messed up in most cases Ie being in soapy water a lot , so why do a manicure* which is supposed to fix hand issues* in water.

I consider myself non-girly.  I hate having my nails done because they are never perfect enough and always chip within a few days, I can't see any sense in paying for something that only lasts a few days.

Not "girly" to me means not wanting to have a 30 minute conversation on what color to paint the bedroom or nail polish colors or some other god awful boring mundane topic that's totally frivilous

Hey! Ya know, you can be ultra femme girly and talk about nail polish and still be able to wax poetically about literature, world politics, the economy, culture, religion, and statistics. It is not mutually exclusive to be both.

I could, but that's not who I am, I have zero interest in such topics.  That's not to say others can't discuss it and enjoy it (to each their own), but it sounds very similar to charlie brown's teacher to me as soon as it starts.

Anyway, Do any of you guys ever wish your Dom would impliment rules like that, Rules to take better care of yourself and your presentation?

Why do you need rules? Wanting to feel good about yourself is not enough

Do you really need to be told "hey you might look better if you did your hair- cut your toenails-trim the unibrow"

Is the not caring or putting any effort into being clean and neat perhaps just laziness?

Manicures do not involve soaking in soapy water anymore .. not at all .... they havent been done that way in years ... Treat yourself to one and to a hot wax treatment .. they are great for hangnails etc .. and you dont have to have polish that will chip if you dont want it.  A good manicure cant be ruined in a Day unless you are gardening it digging in dirt or working as a mechanic ..washing dishes wont do it.
Hang nails are prevented by keeping lots of lotion on your hands to prevent dry cuticles

I will probably gross every one out by being honest here, sometimes like with washing hair, and brushing it, not doing it is from sheer lazyness I don't feel like doing it so I do not untill I have to. However other things, It's never been a high priority to do my nails and do up my hair and do the eyebrows. I've never been one for dolling up just cause. I do my eyebrows every once in a rare moon cause I like them better, and for me wearing glasses, waxed or trimmed eyebrows are better cause it's not like eyebrows then boom lenses, you have some definition if you will and I like how it opens up the eyes. I usualy just don't care normally and if someone else didn't hold me to higher standards I wouldn't do it cause I just don't care about such things usualy. Now toenails I cut obsessivly to the point of injury cause toenails are a part of my OCD. If they are sharp or ragged you can feel them catchin on the bedsheets or on your socks and it drives me batty. THAT is one thing nobody has to make rules about doing. Infact Daddy should prolly make rules about not cutting them so much cause I have hurt myself before cutting them almost off, such as the baby piggy which on me doesn't have much of a nail either. Or messing with them till the toes have bled and hurt.

I guess the women she goes to don't do a good job then cause her nails are chipping and looking like shit by day 4. There's a ton of places around here for nails and such, I think I am going to go look into some of the nicer places this week, because I've really wanted a pedicure for a long time now, and the dry skin is peeling a bit now, which is hell on my OCD cause I am compelled to pick it till the skins not sharp any more. That a nd I LOVE my feet rubbed.

Warm water soak long enough to be able to clean under your nails easily and soften the cuticles to be able to trim them .. or in heated lotion .. or in pariffin if you so that route but never hot water and never for long  .. and they also slather them in lotion to make up for the brief warm soak...

I certainly would detest a man who expectd me to be girly ALL THE TIME. That's simply not who I am.

I'm mostly a tomboy...however I do enjoy "playing dress up" now and then and getting foo-fooy.

Long nails will never be an option (I work outside too much), but I do give myself home manicures and pedicures.

I don't "do" my hair everyday, but at my age I don't really need to. I've got naturally gorgeous long blonde hair cut into very flattering layers. I get it trimmed every 6 weeks and use good shampoo and conditioner, but that's it. I will sometimes curl it for a very, very special occasion but not regularly.

I "maintain" my eyebrows so I don't get a uni-brow, but I don't wax them into thin lines. When you do that, you end up not having ANY eyebrows when you're old.

I wouldn't wanna do it all the time just right before his visit once a week, so he has the treat of coming home from all day at work and a 2 hour drive to come home to something I normally don't do. When the beautician does my eyebrow;s she don't do them in that one thin thin line either. She just cleans up the tops and bottoms some.

One thin line isnt the most attractive for anyone in my opinion ... but the touch up top and bottom and to avoid a unibrow is so much more attractive for men and women....
