Lady SilverRose and I are new to the site and would like to say hello. It is most likely that you will see me posting here most often. Lady SilverRose is the strong, silent type, for the most part. A bit about us. We are female, polyfideletous, and our collective is both a household and a spiritual collective, in the Gulf-Coast region of Texas. We are only peripherally involved with local groups, but that may be changing in the near future. We have been involved in the lifestyle for over a decade. Our focus is much more heavily involved in long-term, spiritually-motivated dominance and submission than we are on BDSM, play parties, and strictly physically or physically-mentally motivated explorations. Our abbey is welcoming a new servant-acolyte in the middle of September, and we are in the "informational" process with a seeker-acolyte who seems, so far, to be a fascinating person and whom we hope will be a good long-term fit. It seems likely that we'll have other dominant individuals who come for community or mentorship and take their place among us as guides. It also seems likely that we'll go back to having a regular training program in place for servants. We did for a few years, then circumstances caused us to have to relocate, and we haven't really worked too much at getting it restarted, but other aspects of our lives seem to be coming together to allow that to happen again. Some will likely stay in the community, others will learn what they want to know, and will move on to other ways of living, and, in any case, it's all good. About us... I am a teacher/minister by inclination and nature. I am ordained (Illuminance Fellowship), an appointed Illuminance Abbess, and have Ph.D.'s in metaphysics and comparative religion with developmental theology. I also have a doctorate in Naturopathy, with a focus on midwifery and women's health. I have a published novel, quite a few published articles in both mainstream and alternative publications, and a "syndicated" advice column for alternative lifestyles and spirituality called Dear Abbess. I work for a paycheck as an administrative editorial assistant to a surgical oncologist. I am the nag and the one who flays off the skin with biting commentary, among the two of us. Lady SilverRose is a Ph.D. biochemist and has a doctorate in homeopathy. She is currently taking her coursework to take her national/international boards in homeopathy. She is an ordained Priest/Healer (Illuminance Fellowship), and is the more sadistic and acerbic of the two of us. She works as a research scientist, studying melanoma. Anyway...enough about us. We're glad to be here, and hope to participate to mutual advantage. Lady Zephyr
