to tell me to get off my ass and do something productive. Would you believe i still haven't taken down our Christmas tree (and it's a live tree!)? Maybe it will keep the groundhog from seeing his shadow. [:-]

Your christmas tree is still up becasue you are trying to prove how industrious you can be saving time for next year... its a positive thing. Next thing you'll know, youll want to take down the lights too... sheesh DV

[:-] hahaha! i'll use the groundhog excuse for myself since my tree is still up as well, although mine is fake, and at least i have the ornaments taken off of it....somehow that isn't helping me feel better about it still being up......shrugs.

Well, the lights are down, because i didn't want people to think the house was abandoned... but no one can see the tree but me and the cats, and they seem fond of it. But until i take the tree down, i don't need to bother vacuuming, because it's just going to leave needles everywhere when i drag it out... and there's no point in picking up the random stuff scattered around, because i'll have to do that before i vacuum.. It's all a rich tapestry of laziness. [&:]

you're making me laugh....i'm definitely getting my tree down today, in fact i'm going to do it right now, it will take all of 5 minutes....you've motivated me petdave...i wish i knew of a way to do the same thing for you, but here's a hug and a thank you! (brb)

But... no! As long as there's somebody else who still has a tree up (even if it's artificial) i'm not alone... i was feeling all reassured in my slothfulness [:o] To make it worse, my tree is enormous- it was too big for the tree stand, so i had to build one out of scrap lumber and one of our big cooking pots... and i need my pot back.

You don't need a Dom, what you need is initiative. Procrastination seems like fun, but all you're doing is screwing yourself. Take a good look at where the Xmas tree is sitting, and think about all the things that could be sitting in that spot: new coffee table, standing lamp, conversation piece, etc. If that doesn't convince you, consider this: that tree is a fire hazard. It'd be a damn shame to find youself homeless because you weren't willing to invest in 15 minutes worth of work.

Aww, now i just feel guilty [:o] Maybe i should have a cookie. Okay, i guess i should have known better than to expect this to work without some kind of financial incentive. [&o] Plan B: i'll create a Mistress profile on the other side, looking for a sissy maid to do housework "under my slave's supervision" (which, of course, only a Twue Sub would be able to distinguish from "while my slave plays on the computer". It's all about knowing your audience...

Just roll with it. :)
