Whenever I meet a virgin, I do everything I can to make sure she's not a virgin afterwards.

Oh, but she has to be over 18.

Lol

I'm a virgin - and intent on staying that way till marriage. I don't think it's bothered anyone I've played with. I'm not against them not being virgins... or even doing "sexual" acts.. such as figging - but I keep those to Me being fully clothed and it's about D/s - not about sex for Me.

I tell people that up front and the only people who seem to have a problem are those only interested in getting laid.

No problem.

If virgin is sub, first step is a c belt to ensure sub remains uder control that way as long as desired. Next step is to decide, in a D/s context, if and whenever the attribute is going to change.

Meeting someone interested in BDSM and a true sexual virgin is rare. If I meet this kind of person, I get red flags.

Sexuality is a natural thing and it makes me wary if an adult who knows they like to be tied up but hasn't yet experienced sex. I fear the kind of psychological hell that's lurking to block them from moving forward physically with their life. I would not invite that into my life.

I don't trust sexual virgins. I see them as emotional baggage waiting to happen. I also see something immature about people who wear their virginity like a badge of honor.

when I see the word virgin I think of inexperence that is not something Im looking for. I dont mind training a person to what I like and expect but I really dont want to start from the ground up I usually worry then that they are just exploring and may not really be in the lifestyle and Im just wasting my time.

I agree MsWhip. Look at my blog about the virgin that came to me last month. Talk about red flags. Only after discussing everything with my Head Bitch and the girl did we proceed. It has been the right choice; but it could have turned out to be a living hell. Acknowledging the red flags and dealing with them can work; but sometimes there are things with these virgins that you cannot anticipate.

A pox on those who would abuse them.

Well, I started with BDSM several years before I had intercourse, and was somewhat established with a number of partners before moving on to that. For me, having sex the first time was not a big deal as I didn't worship the concept of virginity. I simply wanted a safe, thoughtful friend who didn't expect a major committment. There are many, many wonderful sex acts that don't involve penile/vaginal penetration, and thats most of what I still do with partners that I am not 'fluid bonded' with. I ask about sexual history and sex abuse history in the initial interview, so I should be aware from the start. Regardless of someone's sex and abuse histories, we talk about how sexual they are open to being with my male sub partner and me, and we reassess that regularly. If they have little experience with a kink or sex acts, I'm extra mindful. But, everyone has to learn somewhere, and if they wish to learn with me (and/or my partner) then its up for discussion. I do not view male and female virgins differently, although I treat genders differently when it comes to kink. I do, however treat folks with an abuse history somewhat differently, in that more care is taken around possible triggers. Thats the therapist in me, what else can I say?

don't suppose you can say much else...it pretty well covers it...
but "I" DO differ from YOU........."I" DO treat males and females differently...especially so called virgins...
it's bad enough "I" quit having sex due to bad experiences in life....but to not have had sex at all??????/ hmm. scares the hell outta ME.
