If you do not want a black man for president why don't you be honest enough to say so instead of saying someone else said it when the link you posted shows clearly that he did not.

I would vote for Thomas Sowell in a heartbeat. I'd also vote for Walter Williams

FatDomDaddy:
You forgot to include Larry Elder.
They are all whiter than you....The only thing black about them is their skin.
These three men have found their niche as apologists for racism.  Their position is that slavery wasn't all that bad and there is no racism today.  All any black has to do is reach down and pull himself up by his boot straps.  Their writing panders to PC bigots.  They have a pretty big following.

There are several O59, but since you apparently think Yugoslavia is next to Iran, I think going to bed would be a far more productive use of my time.

Thompson, that might be the most rascist remark I've ever encountered on these boards.

Fast reply: Is it just me, or does Obama sound like "The Rock" if you close your eyes?

Rich:
Please tell me how you arrived at that conclusion.

FatDomDaddy, I know that your comment was meant for someone else..but I was inspired by it....

I don't want a black man, a white man, a man of any color or a woman of any color to be president.  I want someone who can do the job, fulfill the promises made in campaigning, be honorable, be as trustworthy as that position allows and looks at the bigger picture and not just ensures benefits for the elite.  I want someone to focus on America for a change.

Sexual orientation, skin color, gender and religious background should not be factors in this.  And I wouldn't want a person who focused on or defined themselves by any of those.  And I don't listen to the 'majority' who do.

But in the end, isn't it really the electoral college who picks our president?  So why get all bent?

Agreed.

I`ll take competence every time, fuck everything else.

I think most of America feels that way too.

There are millions of white democrat voters who would NEVER vote for a black
man for president. How is it that you do not know that.

How is it that you are not aware that we appoint presidents in this country and do not elect them?
