I like this best.

Although I never knew there were approved BDSM colours........learn something new every day. They must be listed in that "One True BDSM Way" book I've never purchased.

Status: offline 		My favorite colors are black and purple with red a third.  I tend to operate more on the darker side of the color spectrum than on the light side...darker tones appeal to my eyes more than lighter shades and I think I look better in those types of colors so I use them more.  I never associated them with BDSM specifically but I can see where the color black or rich, deep gem tones would go more with the darker nature of BDSM play and so would work well with the toys.  But...that is only MNSHO and takes place in my world.

LaTigresse...in all seriousness, you are such a beautiful person inside and out that I don't think I would be paying much attention to whatever color you were wearing.  Instead, I would be engaging you in conversation, gazing at your body and doing the...joking...line of "damnnnnnnnn woman, you should have been bi".

Status: offline 		When you are on a budget some colours are cheaper than others I find. That is really my only consideration, mass produced items come in a limited colour range. So I wonder if it’s worth spending more for the same item which does the same thing but comes in a non standard colour or style. It is a balance between creating a specific look and functionality I suppose. I’m actually interested to know what people consider to be the worst colours, bright colours I suppose such as lime green. I think a contrast between bright colours and black works well, like in nature it acts as a warning.
 
Although ladybirds aren’t very scary I suppose.

Status: offline 		I never knew there were BDSM colors.  In the east coast people do tend to wear black more than any other color.  On the west coast it is a come as you are type of event...same in the midwest.

So, colors?  I guess you could call any color a BDSM color?  Anyway, my favorite color is red.  Doesn't have anything lifestyle attached to it other than my personal preference.

Status: offline 		Everything I own is black and red..but it really has nothing to do with bdsm...just happens to be Georgia Bulldogs colors...and since Im such a fanatical when it comes ti the bulldogs..everyone who has ever bought me anything bdsm related..always buys it in black and red too...so everything, including the bag I carry my toys in, are black and red..my whips, floggers, insertables, cuffs, even my clothes pins...someone found them in black and red. Which is great, because I can go to a play party on game day and my bag and floggers match my UGA hat, earings, shirt, bra, jacket...etc...

Status: offline 		While I also prefer black and leather for everything, I cant' stand wearing all black, ever.  I just feel too....dark?  Goth?

Currently, I do black t-shirt and good looking and nice fitting bluejeans (and black leather belt, black leather boots, black leather motorcycle jacket, and black hat.)

When I get those black leather pants, I'll be looking for a very sharp light-colored collared shirt of some sorts to balance things out with.

eh, favorite colors are the same regardless of whether it is about kink or not. Black and red, 99.9% of the time i am wearing a combination of those colors.
