Most of the time, you hear about the dominant choosing the submissives clothes. One of the services that Alandra and I do for him is lay out his clothes every day. There are also times that we will dress him if he desires it, much like the service a valet performed. This is a service that I enjoy doing for him and it gets him out of doing something that he finds annoying. Part of this service is taking care of his clothes and shoes. Do others enjoy having this type of service performed? How many submissives enjoy performing the services of a valet? Knight's Kyra

Yes, it is something that I enjoy. I am color-blind and have given her the task of making sure that I don't dress myself to look silly. I also have her put on & take off my shoes & socks.

A wonderful point of thought Kyra, I enjoy it very much so.. She does take care of all of my clothes, at times lay them out for me, and assist in dressing me. This all goes along with her bathing and certain activities of grooming me. Not only does she feel it another way to serve, but also get's a feeling of her input and efforts on my looking my best for both myself and for her.

About 75% of the time, I'd say, I lay out my Owner's clothes, or I go retrieve it from the closet. I almost always keep her shoes tied...even if we're in public. Of course, she's not above doing it herself either.

I dunno. I tend to groom my pet, and not the other way around. I can see the appeal of being attended to, though.

I have to agree with sexyred1, I like undressing my Master best. Though if you ever want me to attend to you, you know I will, Master. But wasn't it you that had to untuck my shirt and get me into better fashion tastes? XD.

I almost always have a valet when I go to a conference. I write out each outfit, including underwear and socks and such, on an index card. If I know what I'm wearing each night, I put that note on it, too. I like to be dressed, but in order to like it first thing in the morning, the person has to have a morning attitude that I can handle...which means they're quiet and matter-of-fact and not trying to get me to "smile" or otherwise be chipper in the morning. People who understand that are often hard to find. Master Fire

I'm usually alert and friendly in the morning but I can take a hint when someone would rather not have a dose of my humor before they have their coffee. I had to take an aerobics class in college because I needed a damn gym credit and all the good classes were full. It was an 8am class and I swear to god that instructor was on meth. She was chipper and corny while making us do repetitive and horribly boring routines on a box. So I can understand the want to have a nice quiet morning.

i have been asked to do this a few times...not the actual dressing but laying out the clothing he has told me to get....Usually it is a golf outfit, that i know which exact things he wears most of the time. i totally enjoy it when asked to do it. i also do his laundry, which is one of my favorite tasks, especially since when we were getting to know eachother and he told me that he is "meniacle" about his clothes and i found out quickly that my anal retental way of dealing with clothes (learned from my mom) meshed perfectly with him being meniacle. i know i am doing something well for him that he finds very important.

I think one of the things I like best about it, is that I don't actually have to talk to him beyond a few questions to make sure I know what he wants. Talking or listening in the morning is not something I enjoy and the more someone tries to engage me in the morning the more annoyed I get. That made me smile.. I am picky about my laundry, so he allowed me to take over doing laundry at the house. After 10- 15 loads per week, I might become less picky about laundry g It is actually something that I enjoy and it has to be done 4 days a week. Thank you to everyone for sharing. Knight's Kyra

[:D] I noticed a torn seam in one of his pants and ran down to the hotel's gift shop for a sewing kit, and happily mended them, humming all the while. And dressing him was just a joy. I could press my body into him while buttoning his shirt, kiss his feet while tying his shoes, etc. It was fun that we are equally meticulous (or maniacal, as you put it). [:)]

[:)] Lol, yes manical is my Daddy's description...turth be told, it kinda scared me at first. although i think he is maybe not as maniacal as i am considering that i have gotten similar statements, as your's above, about folding sometimes...and the one time i actually had to iron for him, i was taking such a long time making sure it was right that he came over to check on me, thinking that i was just being too good to him...it was more that i was trying to make it perfect and fumbling through since i hadn't ironed in ages than that i was being too good to him (like there is such a thing:))
