I've never been interested at all in phone sex. I've never really understood the point of it. No, I'm not talking about 900 numbers. I'm talking about with someone who's not getting paid. Such as a submissive/lover/partner, whatever you wish to call it.

What does it do for you (If anything), and why?

Because i'm a touch feely type person, phone sex has never worked for me. i've done it a couple times with another Dom, and it was like having a regular conversation with another person.

I've never partaken in phone sex, but I'm pretty sure it'd work rather well if I did it with my Owner.

Why?  I'm very verbal/mental when it comes to sexual-type things.  Very much moreso than I am visually based.  Words and certain language has always had a very strong pull to me.

It's a useful tool for those who are long distance - it's not preferable to hands on, skin to skin sex by any stretch of the imagination, but when you miss each other, whatcha gonna do? <shrug> ....

well you have to have a connection with that person.. and an imagination on both ends of the line.. otherwise it is boring as hell... but if you are both turned on.. and really well matched verbaly.. it can be really hot. And! Phone sex is not limited to indoors in bed ... you can take a cell phone anywhere ... have phone sex anywhere.  As was just stated it's very 'mental' and it's limits are bounded only by ones imagination - and my Master has an incredible imagination!

I have done it once and that was with a dear friend/ occassional playmate.   I never thought I could get into it, but it was fun with her.  Not nearly as good as the real thing, but a lot better than pure solo.

Hmmmm.....phone sex. I'd have to say that it falls WAY short of satisfying for me. I've done it just a few times, but it was rather wierd. I could have just masturbated by myself & had the same fun, only not had to listen to some stupid guy as I was doing it.

I have never understood having phone sex with someone you have just started talking to.  I have a friend that will right into it, with someone she just met on a chatroom somewhere.  There is no way that would work with Me, cuz if the other person does not know what I like, someone little could be said or done that would kill My urge to masturbate in a second.  However, with someone I have known a while, and we get along sexually in other ways, then it can be fun.

I've never done it, but my sub has in past relationships. He thinks its very erotic and a great way to masturbate, so I tried it once. When I 1st entered the lifestyle, I liked it quite a bit.  One of the 1st Doms I talked too, was down in Georgia, omg, he had the sexiest voice!  But now that i have experienced a fair amount, phone sex doesn't do much for me, i wish it did.

Doesn't help that over the summer I had a bad scare: I was on Literotica's chat and talking to a lady in Texas, after a while, she asked if she could call me, I said sure, and gave her my #. The phone rang and it was a man's voice.  He told me he was going to blackmail me into doing things.  Anyways I figured later on that it was a blackmail fantasy. but it still soured me on phone sex with ppl I don't know. which is prolly just as well

::shrugs::  When I can't be with my One ... it's lovely to hear him enjoy himself on the other end of the phone.  It's exciting to know that my words and voice alone get him there.  It's fun sharing whispered dirty thoughts with one another. 

It's not a substitute for the real thing ... but it's a fun addition!

I couldn't get into it with someone I didn't know, though.  That would be way too awkward.

I've heard the voice programs on Mac, and we played with the voice feature, and its too funny to even get aroused by because the voices are so expressionless and monotone.  But yea...Good for a hell of a laugh.
