How Smart Is Your Right Foot?

Just try this. It is from an orthopedic surgeon.......

This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over
again to see if you can outsmart your right foot, but, you can't. It's
preprogrammed in your brain!

1. WITHOUT anyone watching you (They will think you are GOOFY)
and while sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift
your right foot o ff the floor and make Clockwise Circles.

2. Now......while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your
Right Hand. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it!

You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done,
You are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.

DAMNITT me and Diesel both failed this. Our feet are dumb

I can do this, but it takes tremendous concentration and the motion of my foot will usually get a bit jerky. But it can be done.

'course, if you want to cheat, just draw the 6 backwards. Most people normally start at the top and end when they close the loop. If you start at the close of the loop and draw it in reverse, it's trivially easy.

(Note - I can do it without cheating, too. Just not as well).

It's like making your finger go in clockwise circles around your right ear ... and your other hand going in counterclockwise circles around the other ear .... then reversing them both.  Hard, takes practice, but it can be done.

While you are at it ... roll your tongue, flare your nostrils, raise alternate eyebrows, wiggle your ears & do a stomach roll (& reverse it).

All just a matter of concentration & practice.  But, gotta admit, hadn't heard of the foot circles & hand 6's before.

Ok, maybe I'm just weird (stop snickering y'all) but I had no problems doing that ...

I drew the six using a clockwise motion. The foot did not screw up. Next time give more specific instructions.
