Not totaly new to the scence but need to learn more. I have had several subs already including a pain slut who I have grown to enjoy after overcoming some issues of My own. Now I cannot wait to use her as she needs to be. I still feel I am missing something. I am heading towards having a 24/7 slave. Any inisght to readings or great D sites...

I liked SM101 by Jay Wiseman personally. I read almost the entire thing, and it posed a lot of questions that opened up really good discussions between Luvdragon and myself. There are a LOT of good threads here and well that can definitely help you ask yourself and your prospective slave all the stuff that you need to work out to make your relationship work.

The three I usually recommend:

Loving Dominant - by our own John Warren (John do I get a cut of those royalty checks?)

This book was what made me realize that what I wanted really existed. It's the book that pointed out that you can be a loving, caring Dominant and still be a hard assed sadist.

Screw The Roses, Send Me the Thorns - another good book regarding the dynamics of BDSM D/s

Different Loving - Which deals with a lot of the psychological aspects of D/s BDSM

www.steeldoor.com and www.castlerealm.com have some good stuff on it. Wouldn't take it as gospel, but there are some good thought ticklers in there.

I think it's good to learn at least a little about every topic, even if you decide that's it's not for you. It gives you good footing.

Two excellent publishers are Greenery Press who publishes my books and Daedalus. Their websites are www.greenerypress.com and www.daedaluspublishing.com.

Rather than recommending specific books, I'd suggest you look at their websites and decide what you need.

So far the advice is great.

The only thing I'd like to say at this time is for you to start thinking when you are in control. After all is this a D/s relationship or is this masochist topping from the bottom causing you to be a sadistic submissive?

This is just something for you to think about as this relationship/arrangement grows. Best of luck with it and let no one define the two of you. Everyone does everything a little different and what's most important is finding out what works best for the both of you.
