Too true, too true, however with one child mortally and permanently gone, and two cancer scares (mine) in the past two years, both Master and I have faced the fact that one day we will show our mortality. Putting off until tomorrow whatneeds to be done today, would leave us wide open to the whims of fate and Master is far to self controlled for that.The people who hit that fog and smoke bank on I-4 2 weeks ago in Florida didn't think they were mortal. Masters schedule was changed fortunately the day before or he might have been in that. Anyone who is a parent or planning on being one should already have most of that in place including who will raise the child if the worst happens. One would hope a Master.Mistress would also be prepared at least for those who are a permanent part of their lives.

I would be devastated over the loss of my Master but in the event of his death I would be able to take care of things on my own. We both have independent means of insurance, life insurance etc.

I think anyone involved in a M/s relationships should be somewhat self sufficient and be able to make decisions on their own when the time arises. Slaves should take some responsibility for themselves in my opinion.

Well, In My case, I am setting it up so the slave/sub will be serving My wife so she has someone to turn to and be comforted by when such an event happens. I have even stated this in the profile so whomever coming into this is aware. I am 20 years older than wife so am working to provide for everyone as much as i can.

To settle the legal issues and any arguements I married her.

As she is already my slave for the rest of her life and her body is perminently tattooed I felt it was an easy way to take care of any concerns.

Perhaps a slightly different perspective on the subject, a bit late in the string, but such is life.

In My Home slavery runs deep, much deeper than I see many take it. My girl is slave to a degree that would send most running for the hills....lol, however she is by no means incapable of taking care of herself or my Home in my absence.
I ride with a motorcycle club. In this club Brotherhood runs strong, as does the commitment between myself, my Brothers, and my Club.
In the event of my death or incapacitation, my club as a whole will look after aaminah. She becomes property of the Club, as does everything else I own, with one of my Brothers, a specific Brother, being her guardian and overseeing her transition from private to Club ownership if he chooses not to assume ownership of her.
I know the question will be asked so allow me to answer it beforehand, no she herself does not have a choice either way, but she knew this prior to collar.
I do have life insurance, which goes into a trust overseen by my Brother.

Medical insurance for her has proven quite difficult. She does have a part time job while she finishes nursing school and has med ins through that. But for the most part I have been told that if we aren't married, I cannot put her on my insurance through work.
The Club, which is a Corporation, is looking into health insurance for its "employees", but they encounter the same problem; no marriage, no insurance for the wenches. Will have them check Blue Cross Blue Shield, as mentioned in a previous post.

as one of the things i do is place mental triggers and controls, there is one in place that cancels out such in case of my death. this is particularly relevant as one such control limits the ability to have an orgasm by anyone else but me (that includes the posession herself too).

If MasterK happens to precede me in death, I would be
heartbroken for a long time.

However, I'm an adult. I work a full time job, pay my bills,
live in my own apartment.

I would not be "passed on" to another master as if I couldn't
take care of myself. I would be offended by someone think-
ing that that was necessary.

I think of it more as having someone to help her/them as the case might be to get through any emotional trauma caused by the death.

I would leave her to another because she is slave, she entered this Home and surrendered herself to a life of servitude. She serves me well, in giving her to another I am ensuring that my property will be cared for and that my commitment to her as her Owner is fulfilled even thpough I am gone.

The other reason for doing so, if you know anything about M/Cs, is that if I did nto give her to a Brother, she becomes the property of the Club. She would serve all within the Club at their pleasure, with no restrictions. I would not wish my girl to experience that.

I think there are many reasons as to why a Man might leave his wench to another, above are two of my reasons. He may also do so as a show of Honor, Respect, and Trust to another.

It does not seem that simple to me unless the relationship involves separate residences, no joint debt, no joint assets, no joint tax returns, etc. If it does involve those things, it becomes a bit more complicated.

That's what friends and family are for, not another dominant, in my opinion.

I would choose another dominant/master when I was ready, if ever. I don't need one I don't know to give me "emotional support".

I understand that your girl agreed to that upon becoming your slave, that is her right. I have no problem with people
making a free choice of this type. I mean no disrespect to you and your girl's chosen way of life.

In my case, this is not a clause in my agreement with MasterK. I would once again be free to choose for myself.
