Im in a debate with myself over this. And would like the expierance/opinion of women who have one. Or who have had one, if it was a negative expierance.

Read up on clitoral peircing, I found that women with pronounced hoods have an easyer ordeal. But have not seen anything on women, with smaller hoods. Like myself.

Is a peircing like this possible, with a small hood?

Yes, plenty possible. Go to a reputable piercer and they will know, after inspection, if there is some reason you wouldn't be a good candidate.
That said, I love mine. *grin* Creates a nice "pressure" on clit when right pants are worn.
Only drawback is getting caught in a bad position when sitting down and having to play with my crotch in the middle of a restaurant or something to get it straightened out....*chuckle*

Yes, it's possible. Do research your piercer though and ensure they are reputable. When I had mine the ball sat neatly on my clit and had the most explosive orgasms as a result - even showering would set me off as I was so sensitive. I no longer have mine and not able to have another, and how I miss it!

I have a "smaller hood" as you do but My piercer was excellent and did a Vertical Hood Piercing. Its definately worth it even if it is a little painful at the time. A hood ornament is well worth the pain and you will never have anyone unable to find the "hot spot " again !!!

I wish I still had mine! The pain I experienced was minimal, I was so excited about having mine done that the pain experienced took a back seat to my excitement and exhilaration of having it done. I suffered minor swelling afterwards which lasted approx. 3 - 4 days and it healed very well/quickly.

Do the Q-tip test.

To explain:
1. Take a Q-tip and remove the fuzzy cotton from it to expose the tube end from on side.
2. Wash your hands.
3. Wash your bits with a cloth and warm water.
4. GENTLY insert the end of the q-tip under the hood of your clitoris. You MAY have to pull up slightly on the hood.

If you can do this, you'll be able to get a clitoral hood piercing no problem, but as others have stated, make sure you go to a reputable piercer and have them take a look for you.

I had a vertical clit hood piercing (done by Elaine Angel) and loved having it because it was pretty, but ultimately it got on my nerves and I took it out. It went BBBBBBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ against my vibrator and made a noise like a sewing machine! It twisted in a wacky way. It was fun to rub up against, but overall, I give it a meh. Getting it and healing it were easy, though, so I would certainly recommend doing it. You can be whimsical with piercings, if you hate it, just take it out!

the simple answer is that yes it is totally possible. the question of anatomy is really just which one would suit you better a vertical or horizontal hood piercing.
I've heard good things physically from both.

and just remember to specify the difference between a clitoral piercing and a clitoral Hood Piercing. though many people already assume you are refering to the Hood especially piercers... its still worth differentiating...
and although there are exceptions: most proffesional piercers won't even do a clit piercing as they are high risk of damage when the effects of the hood piercing have the same effects with much less risk.

I love this subject!!
When I looked up about this oh so great ring. I seen pictures of females with smaller clits. So I knew I could get mines done. I shopped around before I picked someone to touch my kitty. Always ask to see pictures of their work. Any freak in a shop could say they know what they are doing. The girl I went to had her's done also. So hey .. I was golden.
You are going to love it. I promise. I believe everybody should get it done. I never had any pain when I got mines done.

I also have my triangle done. It took me forever to find someone that would do it. (The triangle is a ring that goes on under the clit.) A lot of people turned me down because of the risk. I finally found a guy in Orlando to give me the gift that keeps on giving. I need to send him some flowers

I have the triangle done, with a curved barbell, and love it. Didn't hurt anymore than a clit clip. Now you guys got me wanting to get my hood done....thanks a lot! I can just hear it now: "Oh boy, more toys to play with..."

I dated a woman with a vertical clittoral hood piercing many years ago. I found it to be a fun novelty, but it sometimes clicked against my teeth when I went down on her which was mildly annoying. Her girlfriend loved playing with it though, she described it as an attention beacon.

I would be happy with 'mildly annoying'... I have two broken upper molars thanks to doing battle with a PA piercing!

That reminded me of the time I had a fem/sub practicing some oral skills and her tongue piercing got caught on my verticl hood piercing. I have both verticle and horizontal. Anywhooo...neither one of us could see what was going on enough to get it unhooked. Then we got to laughing so hard it HURT!!! Finally, it unhooked itself in the midst of our laughter. I'll NEVER, EVER forget that...*chuckle*

I had my hood pierced also. Mine is fairly small also. I had the horizontal piercing, with choosing a barbell for the ornament.
I found taking the stairs instead of the elevator was well worth the flights...especially with a tight pair of jeans.
Running up them was more pleasureable than walking/climbing.There were more than a few occassions I'd run them just for the orgasm.

i had a horizontal ring ... it was and still is fabulous! ... i couldn't use the numbing gel that some piercers use (allergies) .. and it was just a few seconds of pain ... i am a total wuss so if i can do it anyone can (honestly flossing distresses me)

one thing though .. the thicker sized ring they use to do the piercing can be changed to a finer .. or thicker depending on your pref. ... I had some of the issues with twisting that some have mentioned that is a little uncomfortable .. but since i changed to a finer ring it hasn't been an issue

i adore mine ... i had it done to please a partner .. thought i would hate it .. and now its my favourite piece of jewellery

i had a horizontal piercing hood piercing for several years (took it out prior to a surgery and never had it put back in). i chose a ring with a hematite ball for the decorative bit. it hurt like a muther, and i screamed the loudest primal scream of my life followed by a blood sugar crash. after all that, i floated around for the rest of the day on a happy cloud. the healing process was not too bad, though hurt more than i thought it would.

for me, it was not the "orgasm inducing" adornment that so many claim. mine was, however, very useful for connecting nipple clamps to the ring for a bit of bondage fun. i also like for it to be pulled during playtime!

i have heard that the vertical piercings are more apt to give you a case of permagrin as you walk down the hallway at work........

From a blokes' point of view (and as mentioned before), they're great for finding where you're going (Hey, I'm here!!) but the tappity-tap on teeth gets bloody irritating very quickly. Not that this answers your question... :)
