I love the little things that seem to make days so much nicer.

My little bright moment for this afternoon is that my partner just called and said:

"I was walking down the street and missed you"

Now, he never calls me during the day (unless it's to ask what we need at the supermarket), so a surprise call was a wonderful thing in and of itself . . . but he missed me.

It just left me with a smile on my face, so I thought I'd share.

What's your bright moment for today?

Darcy leaving a message, commenting on how proud he was that others will get to see my artwork on my new website he assisted me with.  It rocks that he encourages me and made me feel all loved up.

And also getting an email from a dear friend who has been away a long time.(Yeah that's two, but today is a good day)

The squishy little cat I adopted has finally decided I'm not too scary to pick her up and carry her around, while she purrs and purrs.

the little thing that brightened my day. well let's see.

i would have to definately say it was seeing my Mistress still in the house at 8:15 am, when She's normally at work by that time, and finding out from Her that they closed Her work place due to all the ice this morning, for the day.

it's made me very happy to be able to serve Her on a weekday like this

My favourite horse knickering to me when I came out the door this morning.

Watching my newest puppy with all of her silly 3 month old puppy antics.

My son calling me to say hi, see how my day is going and tell me he loves me. He is 28 AND he didn't even want anything from me!

Finding out my mom is coming out of the hospital today, and that the doctors were wrong.

Seeing the pictures (finally) of a birthday party I helped organize. A friends little boy has never asked for anything... ever. He is the type that would just as soon his mom get toys to give to charity for chirstmas as he would unwrap his own.  He wanted to drive a motorcycle. So, I talked to a friend of mine and he took a ride by their house during the boys's birthday party and took him for a spin. They even let him pose for some pictures alone on the bike.  A 9 year old on a huge harley...

A message on my phone from Fox on his way to or from class that is just "Hey, just thought Id call and say I love you. I love you. Ok, bye"

Thank you all for sharing.

I think I'm in for another bright moment this evening. My partner hinted that I might get a present since today is my 50 day anniversary since I stopped smoking.

The cat I adopted, after 6 mos, greeted Me at the door. Love and acceptance is a powerful thing.

The nightly ritual of massage that I receive.

The first flower of spring that I get to view each year.

Amazing chats with an old dear friend on here.

The grandson who is three saying on the phone, "Damma, love you." (he can't say Grandma yet-lol)

Snow days like today so I stay home from work and read instead.

Opening a card that was left on my front porch.  It was from my mom and she told me how much she loves me and shes proud of me.  Made me smile because she's never said she's proud of me...

Having Him call me on my way to take my licensure test this morning and wish me luck....

Calling Him afterwards (while He's at work) to tell Him i passed and hearing the absolute joy and happiness in His voice for me..

Getting home and reading my emails congratulating me from Him.

Knowing that on Thursday i get to pick my cat up (who's been staying with a friend) and take the cat to His house to live...

Calling my neice and nephews and hearing them give me crap....

Being told I was a nice person by the people I study with.

(maybe they had second thoughts when I asked to measure their wrist sizes to gain an average for a pair of steel manacles I am making for a college assignment-grins)

Here's a bit of a weird one, but I found out that my shih tzu loves iced cappuccinos (no, I never gave it to him, he stole one once when I left it unattended).

Anyways, I indulged in one this morning, and he came and offered me his prize bone (which he always keeps hidden) in exchange for a taste of the iced cap. No, I didn't give him any, but it certainly made me giggle, and made my day.
