I guess it must be the seeming incongruity of a kitten dominating a saint bernard?

And yet-it happens. [;)]

PrizedPosession -> RE: Why is that? (1/29/2008 8:10:53 PM)

It's kind of interesting because i am doing a paper on affirmative action and my point is that it really just proposes a new type of gener/racial inequality. That these people who fought so hard to get equal rights are now using it against others instead of rising above the past. Instead of using their new freedoms to spread the word of equality they found a new way to keep someone down and punishing a generation that had nothing to do with past stipulations isn't fair because they were born.
In the end we are all people and just because someone proclaims themselves supreme doesn't mean it's true, except in your head. But when that facade is gone you have nothing left because you have to come to the cruel conclusion that just because you were born a certain way doesn't make you better, smarter, stronger, etc.
And in terms of BDSM..i can't offer much of an opinion cuz i am still a noob[8D]

My question, why would you want one? Perhaps if female supremacists adopted some very cheesy fictional series to represent their "culture" and lived out of the books, including quoting from them as though they were a holy book of some sort, you may have gotten your own board too. If it is worth it to you, maybe you can write your own fictional series of the sort of world you envision once the women all reign supreme... then you can quote from it, live it as some sort of ideal.

I would view that forum as I view the Gorean one....

Goreans are no better than female supremacists.... I find nothing wrong with being a pro. I do find a problem with people that rate me as less than they because they were born with a third leg.

LMAO...the sad thing is though is i agree with you.

no that sounds wrong.

the sad thing is that it happens enough that i do actually agree with you--i've gotten that from men too.

CuriousLord -> RE: Why is that? (1/29/2008 8:57:18 PM)

I'm not entirely sure how the response connects to the previous post, but more conversation's better than less.  ;)

Gorgeans.. well.

I see a "supremacist" as someone who applies an ideal of a inniate superiority to all people.  I often wonder.. are Gorgeans all supremacists, or are they just living in a set lifestyle which happens to have male dominance, yet they're not under any delusions of grandeur outside of this?  This is, is Gorgean-ism truly male supremacy?  I'm afraid I don't know enough about it to say.

LMAO!!  Oh.

OK that's funny.  Thanks CL!

I think it's that whole "Pay me for my Supremacy" that turns people off.  I mean, I just spent half the night booking travel for Mr. Wonderful....Now that I've booked three trips, including putting myself on one so I can get there early and pick up his car and drive him to his conference...let me just finish up by writing him a check.  [8D]

You know, I could say the same about us submissives.. the dominant sorts have their own gender based boards... but we submissives are dumped together as though gender doesn't matter.. and yes, submissives differ in what they find relevant based upon gender. Poor male subs are completely outnumbered by the fem ones.

( for rick19)---why do you think the concept of female supremacy is more accepted on the boards than male supremacy?

Or is it?

Both amuse me equally.

Depends on the one in question. Go ask them, I think they will be able to explain it much better.

Dnomyar -> RE: Why is that? (1/30/2008 4:58:09 AM)

Mabey male seperamacy came about because of all the wars the men fought in. How many women were in foxholes ect. getting shot at during all of the big wars. A lot of the men went thru hell. Were they supposed To come back home and have a woman tell them to bow down to them. Now that women are fighting in the middle east mabey they will come back with that same attitude.  In my opinion you can take the word supremancy and shove it.

CatWhoWalksAlone -> RE: Why is that? (1/30/2008 5:05:59 AM)

A good argument for female supremacy.... we clearly have superior intelligence!
