I knew, from the first time I saw him in the contemporized version of Taming of the Shrew (10 Things Hate About You) that he had the presence and ability to be a great actor.  And he was.

Bless him and bless his loved ones.

over the summer, he was here in town filming The Dark Knight and a group of us (critics/reviewers) were able to be on set watching them flim a couple of scenes (especially the one he's a jail cell in his Joker makeup). he did an amazing performance ...very creepy (better than Nicholson's performance) then as it is now after seeing the movie trailers.

seeing him other roles, he could have been one of the best actors almost liken to Brando in some ways.

he'll be missed never knowing the success of his last two films

The day he died I didn't know who he was.  Had never heard of him.  Today, I know far too much about him and the way he lived his life.
I'll just be happy when the media allows him to rest in peace.
