I like domi as well, and his posts are almost always humorous and well thought out ... even if I violently disagree with something he says.

Overall, there has been a lot more "Awaiting Approvals" lately, and even I (yes, me!) have suffered through a couple of weeks of it.

But while I don't think I merited it (no one ever does), I do think that Mod XI is doing a very, very good job in keeping the peace lately. She gets my vote for "Sheriff of the Year".

It has been a whole lot more civil of a place since she has started lowering the boom on everyone that crosses "the line" (and it's not simply due to TOS violations, either), and I think the quality of posts have gone up about 100%.

I was reading this and thinking, I dont even know what the CMs TOS are, I have never read them. But I would assume they are just common sense, and most things you can pick up by reading. So, it must be hard can it be to violate them. No?

There are those that are lost in space due to numerous runins with the TOS.

Some do jail.
Some actually do get hung.

I think he is on semi-perm status, luck. Either I have missed it but I think he was posting straight a time or two, and the forward guard picked up the rebound and dunked it again.

I do not know the technical foul to personal foul ratio out here, having done no more that a few days in county overall.

Yes and no. Most of it is common sense - don't be insulting for the sake of being insulting over and over again. There are certain things you aren't allowed to mention (probably common sense), and there are rules regarding posting letters other people have written to you on the forums that I don't recall the specfics of. No threatening people. Since the mods have contacted me, not to scold but ask me to trim quotes and such like that, I find it very doubtful that anyone would be placed on moderation without at least one or two very clear warnings.

I'd pay $5 a month for a subscription to all of domiguy's posts, both approved and denied. An elegant interface to his entire back catalog of postings (yes, I do know how to search by author) would entertain me for hours on end.

Just curious.
Aside from that person, in particular, what is it in a post that warrants this "approval"?

Domiguy has a unique outlook on life; he thinks everything is waiting for approval. So, a topic presents itself, and Domiguy simply tells it how he sees it. It's no more sinister than that.
