hi, does anyone know of bdsm bars or clubs in new york or where to look for events and places to meet like minded people.

Paddles. It is the BDSM club and only public dungeon left in NYC.
You could also try DomSubFriends or TES on the web.

Paddles is kewl.... I've always enjoyed it when there. They do a good job of keeping the wankers out, which is always a concern at public clubs. They have quality equipment, and a decent variety, and a certain amount of "public privacy" if that makes sense.

the third saturday of the month the novice group holds a Munch before heading over to paddles. its a great way to meet some really cool people in a vanilla setting before heading over to Paddles.

there is a good mix of men and women young and old new and experienced.

its worth checking out;)

you are welcome and you got some good answers here from the guys.
Paddles also has a yahoo group and they post information about events and gatherings there.

Its a very comfortable place to be, I've never felt odd when I've gone, even the few times I went alone. The OTK nights seem to be very popular.

You would have to travel at least 4 hours to find anything here in NY.
toronto, or New York City.
Nothng else that I know of.
