Holy crap!! I'd need someone there checking off everything step by step to remember it all.

Sounds pretty but drawn out.

yes
You can incorporate a leis as a collar.
And torches.
I could go with this.

Cermeony of the Roses

oh, my goodness, and people think talking is complicated.

submissfifi -> RE: Red Rose (2/1/2008 10:15:33 AM)

Hi,

Firstly thank you all for replying to me...oooowww what a bunch of reactions!! Didn't mean to offend or anything. I wasn't planning on using it for anything in the slightest..I was just curious as to whether it existed, as I remember reading it somewhere in amongst my many BDSM readings!

If and only if, I did some cermony/ritual thing...which I'm not too keen on anyway. It would be more personal to both parties. And to me that is something more like a marriage anyway which is a hell of a way off yet.

But interesting to hear peoples views anyway, so for that I thank you.

Wait a minute...don't virgins get sacrificed in this scenarios? If so, we are in big trouble here...

If there are any women facing sacrifice who need to change their status, please drop me a line on the other side.

wondering where you stand?  how about good old fashioned communication?  who needs signs and symbols?  if you can't communicate, something is very, very wrong.  rituals are nice as an added dimension, but they sure do not substitute for honest questions and answers.  best to be clear on things.

Ummm John? You would have to be a miracle worker. At least according to my studies in college, they weren't talking Virgin as in never had sex, they were talking virgin as in never had a child. Much easier to keep track of in the days of sacrifice without a speculum and ob-table. Volcano gods/desses were notorious for short tempers and not wanting to wait to see if there was gonna be a child.

sweetwenchie -> RE: Red Rose (2/1/2008 10:59:53 AM)

errrrrrrr what about  having a child but not having to actually push it out?  Would a c-section keep me safe or not... enquiring minds want to know... i would hate to be out enjoying myself and suddenly find myself tossed into a volcano simply because i did not have natural childbirth. [8|]  What about people who got fixed... damn, so many questions, so many active volcanoes...

Dnomyar -> RE: Red Rose (2/1/2008 11:05:23 AM)

sweetwenchie I am the offical virgin checker. Step to the head of the line. I will check you first. Pardon the ham sandwich.

[:D] Your safe. They have known about cesaerans since Cesar at least, and longer than that lets be honest. The thinking was (at least for the primatives and othes who believed sacrifice to gods of hot boiling rock good) why throw away a perfectly good woman who can produce kids and build the population. Now that old lady over there who never managed to have one despite her husbands best effort, we don't really need her, no kids to provide for her old age..Bye!! For some reason they never seemed to think it might be the mans fault. I suspect there were more than a few woman who made sure they had at least ONE child if they could have them.

While communication is important....ummm....it doesn't make for that romantic of a ceremony/wedding or other type thing....So i'd like communicaton and then my lei Hibisucs collar, torch, and  on the beach with some surf n turf.

Coincidentally, I've been called a "miracle worker" and much more!!  And although it's not my practice, I can make every effort to work quickly (and fruitfully).  And if the effort should fail, they will be no worse for the wear (well, not much worse).

Dnomyar -> RE: Red Rose (2/1/2008 11:34:56 AM)

John work a miracle for me and turn all of these women back into virgins.

Leatherist -> RE: Red Rose (2/1/2008 11:39:51 AM)

I'm not sure-does it have something to do with eating the presented rose, and beating the giver with the stem?
