Why would anyone need to email you privately to learn about munches that are openly discussed and shared publicly in forums such as this?

because of the address where the munch is at, and for directions to the munch.

I see, this is a munch held at a private residence? If that's the case, then it's understandable that you wouldn't want to post that here.

Most are held in public venues such as restaurants, hence my confusion.
