Are you sure that he is really that elated by owning you? Could he possibly be taking a lot of drugs? IF he is , really, that ecstatic about you....how does he feel about your posts? you do realize that you are a direct reflection on him, with your actions.....right?

Frankly.... no.

Owning a slave, and I'm very particular about who I would even consider owning... brings me a certain degree of pleasure, yes.  But it does not give me the same sort of "heavenly" exstacy you seem to experience.  Owning a slave is a part of my life, one piece to the puzzle.  Its one I can live without, though I would rather not.  There are moments when they bring me greater joy, specific instances when I feel particularly proud or pleased or content.  But in general, while they do add some happiness and pleasure to my life, its not overwhelming compared to all the other wonderful things in my life.

I think an interesting observation is to place all this in a larger context.  I don't seek "the One".  For me a slave isn't some rare unearthly creature come to fulfill my life... rather a slave is a servant come to add to comfort, pleasure and happiness that already exists in my life.  She isn't the One... she is simply... one, and possibly one among several.  She has her own unique qualities and traits, things she brings to the relationship... but then so do others.  Nor will I perish without her, or languish in torment at her absence should she go... I will, in fact, carry on... and I will, in fact, replace her.   I have done so before, I can do so again.

So no... owning a slave doesn't "fulfill" me... it does not thrill and chill me to the bone... it does not make my life heavenly.  It does make my life nicer and more comfortable.  Its nice having someone bring me a cup of tea just the way I like it, or fix me breakfast, or rub my back, or read poetry of my choosing to me, or sing for me, or any of the many other things a slave might do for me to bring pleasure to me with her service.

This is pretty much how I feel,Would my life change much if she left,No for another is there to fill her shoes..Slaves that I chose are chosen because they please me ,not make me all giddy...Bounty

The different perspectives on this post are interesting....I agree with you and Padriag, I own a slave because she pleases me. But in the one I currently own there is something that is irreplaceable, any slave can serve me the way I wish. But only aaminah can do it as she does. The slave can be replaced, but the heart within the slave is unique and irreplaceable.

I dont feel giddy about owning a slave or submissive but do feel a deep feeling of satisfaction and completeness.... Do I think there is only ONE that can or will make me feel that way? NO.... But I do think that each one brings me satisfaction and completeness in their own unique way.

On the whole... this is how I feel and think about my relationship with Alandra and Kyra.  If I didn't... they wouldn't be in my life for long.

However,  Just because I am extremely happy and content about my relationship doesn't mean that I will not have moments of dissatisfaction.  The happiness just has to significant overwhelm those few moments of dissatisfaction.
