Status: offline 		I had a wonderful session last evening...I think both my slave and I got some true catharsis out of it. We both needed that release, from either end of the spectrum, and in one fell swoop, all our needs were sated. I wonder, who had the better end of the deal, he or I?

What do you think? Who gets the most out of the session when both parties are enjoying themselves to the fullest? When all needs are quieted.

All opinions are welcome, I'd just like to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Status: offline 		If both parties have been sated (their cups are both filled), then logic would dictate that the one who needed it most (their cup started with the least) got the most out of it.  But, in my opinion; there's just not nearly enough information here to make an actual judgement as to who got the most out of it; i would have to hear about the days and weeks following this catharsis.

On the other hand, i believe that what you are actually asking is which gets more from a mutually satisfying scene?

The dominant or the submissive?

The female or the male?

To draw such distinctions as these is to ask for a lot more trouble than i am willing to do.

Status: offline 		Who has more access to such experiences?  The one who has a harder time finding a partner to provide catharsis at least got something more rare.

Status: offline 		I don't really understand why it matters who got most out of it.
As long as both parties were satisfied.
But I agree with RedMagic 1 the one who finds it the most difficult to find what they need probably got the most out of it.
The illusion is that because there are more slaves/subs than Dom/mes or bottoms than tops then the bottom would be the most appreciative but it depends on the individual people in the relationship.
I thought it would be easy to find the right partner.
All I can say is it isn't.
I am so glad to hear of relationships that work.

When two peole dance in-sync, why does it need to be one had the better end of the deal.  When everything is "right", "good" and well-matched, it is a win-win situation for all.  There is no better deal than that.
It's the Yin/Yang, the ebb/flow, the meeting of the souls.  It is the best it can be.  Even if for only a moment in time.

Status: offline 		I doubt if there are many times when both parties get an equal amount of satisfaction. As long as overall both parties enjoy themselves is it not possible for one to enjoy it more, and yet both still be satisifed ?

Well, I'm not sure of your experiences but, when I play with my slave, we are "both" extremely satisfied just about every time.  And how would one measure whether the satisfaction is equal or not.  Your either satisfied, or your not.
Perhaps our chemistry is well matched.
I can't say the same for a casual play partners or session scene.  But I'm speaking in terms of "MY" personal partner.
I know we usually both come out of it extremely moved and satisfied.   But that's just us.

I hope you find the same, someday.

Why do you think i havent found the same Ma`am. My point is as follows, in a good relationship, both parties need not get the same degree of satisfaction every time, for it to be good. Thats not the same as saying it doesnt happen, its just saying it doesnt "Have" to be equal for both to enjoy it. Sometimes giving pleasure can be satisfaction enough.
Im not sure how you would measure the degree of satisfaction either, then again i didnt pose the question.
