          Besides being an opinionated SOB, I also have a real interest in the art of oratory.  I've seen snippets of speeches used in music many times, but never anything quite like this.  All the lyrics are lines from a speech he gave.

       It's about 4 1/2 minutes.  I wonder how others react to it, regardless of your thoughts on Barry's candidacy.

       A little too bubble-gum radio friendly for my taste, Sanity, but thanks for getting up a good link.  I'm more inclined towards Rammstein looping Bush I saying "a new world order."  (couldn't find it on youtube though).

Personally, I think it's strange and almost disturbing how Obama , with the help of the Kennedy family, is trying to portray himself as the second coming of JFK. No, not John F. Kerry, that we saw in the last presidential election, the other JFK.

      I don't think they are trying to force it, Sanity.  The archetype calls for youth and idealism.  Obama was doing that long before the Kennedy's came on board.  The media has turned it into a regular talking point lately.

     Honestly, I think Barry's neutral, midwest accent makes him even more effective from the podium.

       Yep.  If I meant Goldwater, I'd have used AuH2O.  I don't know that I'll become an Obama supporter (there are several concerns), but I'm certainly becoming an admirer.

I'm always in public places of study, so I can't turn up the volume.

If, though, this is as the title suggests and a music video of Obama with the Black-eyed Peas, I'd like to assume that it's just been put together from clips without his knowledge.  If that's not the case, though.. ick!  Bad taste in music!  Heh.

Technically it was only Will.I.Am, along with Nicole S (Pussycat Dolls), John Legend, Farnsworth, and a mesh of others...i was surprised by all the political backing, i thought it was only Oprah and Obama girl...
