Of course, but it's not about political correctness, it's about reality, and offering a balanced perspective to a woman who is embarking on one of the most decisive journeys of her life. To predict she'll have raging hormones that will drive her insane and all that is pessimistic bull (no pun meant).

You know very well that it's probably impossible to judge how 'pretty' someone feels from the outside, so your challenge is a little ridiculous. I agree with you however that nobody ever feels great every single day of their lives.

It's a little out there, so as Katy said, it sounds as though your woman had a particulary mind-challenging pregnancy. It certainly isn't like that for all of us (I never had cravings for example), and it might well not be for the original poster of this thread. Perhaps in the next life, you'll be reincarnated as a woman and you will understand this from direct experience [:D] .
