I must confess to having a great interest in superheroines.  I'm finding that more and more I'm browsing around, looking at videos of girls dressed like superheroes being defeated or tortured.  The idea of a girl in peril appeals to me as I'm sure it does a lot of folks here.  I think it's all the better if she is dressed in a hot outfit and there's roleplay going on.  Some of the Japanese stuff I've found on youtube is really hot.  Mixture of hot superheroines being "beaten up" and tortured.

The problem is, I'm sure if I were to try something like this in real life, I'd probably feel silly.  Not to mention, I'd have to convince a girl to go through with it.  I'm sure if I had a nice sub, she wouldn't judge my superheroine too harshly despite it's cheesiness and would be happy to carry out the fantasy with me.

The fetish and fantasy is fine, and you can certainly find people who enjoy that as well (trust me, I've been to enough kinky costume parties to know).

Just take care in imposing the fantasy ideals into reality.  It doesn't all translate.

See, I KNEW that all those superhero kids show from the 70's were going to leave their impression on young pervs! Electra Woman and Dyna girl, Wonder Woman, and the Mighty Isis... oh, what strange sexuality hath thou wrought upon America's youth?!  LOL

Seriously, my friend, if people on this site can find partners who don't mind dressing up as horses, puppies, (furries of all stripes) french maids, the opposite sex, fur bikinis while serving wine, or Darth Vader... then a little spandex and a couple of gauntlets isn't too much to ask.

What LA says. I have been to a lot of parties where the women were dressed as superheros.

Ok.. superheroine fetish... google "Ed Howdershelt" or "Abitra Press".. Ol Ed has a series of books you would LOVE.
Yes, Ed's an acquaintance.  No, he isn't in the lifestyle.  But, he does have your kink kind of pegged in one of his series.

ok I don't think there is a man out there who hasn't had atleast one fantasy about wonder woman or cat woman... Of course I'm much more intersted in a three way involving the lasso of truth and catwoman's whip... meow....

But on a serious note, comic book artists portray these women as being over the top beautiful. Super heroines are aslo very typically strong women. So, your submissives fatasize about being helpless before their might and Dominants fantasize about overcoming and rendering them helpless.

My Dom and I have done it, and it IS a tiny bit silly feeling, but in a really good and fun way. Sort of like playing hooky and spending the day at a fun theme park. Young, carefree and giggly. Then the chains come out and the giggling goes away, lol.

I would suggest that you find a sub with a superhero fetish. Seriously. I will freely admit that I have one.

My Dom is a Batgirl fan. One of our only conflicts - I'm Marvel and He's DC.

Yeah me too...oddly I think a guy in such a costume or any superhero costume I would just find a bit goofy although I did date a guy that had superhero themed boxers of different types which was wildly amusing.

Don't they sell some sort of adapter for that?

Sounds like fun to me. Put on a costume, have a struggle, get put in bondage? ect?
I've seen all those Japanese superhero costumes under zentai on Ebay- so apparently you aren't the only person thinking something like this. I come from a place where it's Mardi Gras Sunday and putting on a costume is as normal as wearing sneakers to the gym so maybe I'm a little swayed towards it- but have at.
There's a lot of vintage fetish comic books like this- adult comics let me stress- in addition to women wrestler comics, and a whole range of other subjects. This one's pretty fun, except a good costume can't be cut off with a knife... They're a bit pricey. Oh well.
Ooops- my own fetishes sneak in.

That's partly what it's about.  She's a strong, brave heroine while I'd be a nasty evil villain that exploits her weaknesses and takes her down a few pegs, breaking her innocence and such.

It's fairly interesting to go read about the early days of Wonder Woman, and her creator William Moultn Marston. He was a psychologist that lived in a polyamorous relationship with his wife and girlfriend. The two of them even lived together after he died, up until their own deaths.

Early on, Wonder Woman's great weakness was that if she was restrained by a man she'd lose all of her own willpower and do whatever he told her to. Yes, that's right - Wonder Woman was a great superhero until you tied her up at which point she became your willing slave.

I'm also, of course, reminded of the famous apocryphal story on the internet about the police being called to an apartment after neighbors heard faint cries for help. Inside they found a woman, naked, tied to her bed. Her husband was knocked out cold on the floor, dressed in a batman outfit. Apparently he'd tried to leap off the dresser to "rescue" her, smacked his head into the ceiling fan, and was knocked out cold.
