I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for egg-shaped items or toys that could be inserted vaginally. I can't think of anything beyond ordinary easter eggs (They are very weak and easily open and are broken), and heavy marble egg paper weights. Any ideas?

Please excuse the anime/cartoonishness of this picture, but it's the best I could find to illustrate.

You could try entering this search into ebay:

egg (decoration, decorative) -bunny -light -lighted -box

Browsing through it should give you some ideas, although they won't all be suitable... skimming the first hundred, it looks like you can get glass, wood, solid plastic, chocolate, ceramic... and, hey, you can get a cleaned-out ostrich egg!

i know that at least one of the bigger BDSM shops sells stainless steel ones for insertion, but they'll cost ya.

Go to any adult toy store - they sell egg shaped toys.I have a vibrating one with a remote control that works from 25 feet away - a whole lot of fun - and there have been links on here (search for remote vibrate toys) - one that was actually activated via bluetooth on your cell so ringing or text could make it go off...

I just looked under eggs and got a strange practice of nesting but that is a methode not an object itself. I have tried using crystal eggs on a sub but although the egg itself was very confortable for her getting it out was bit difficult well actually it was more difficult getting her calmed down so I could get it out...LOL. Other than that its a really great shape. Those rock stores usually sell granit eggs and then there is cystal and even wooden ones as well as hard boiled. Tons of stuff at adult stores but lets face it plastic gets a little boring at times. I prefer using heavier materials just for the agitation factor especially when the sub is doing housework and likes.

If you go to a music store...where they sell instruments like guitars...there is a little rattle type thing that is shaped exactly like an egg. It is for one to hold in their hand while strumming a guitar. It is made of a hard plastic and is very washable and can be sanitized with bleach water.
I have had my slaves lay their egg with it plenty of times.
I usually do it anally, however.

A suggestion , however, would be to put the egg in a condom and let the back of the condom (the opening) hang out so you can pull the egg out if need be. It can have a tendency to "get lost" for a while and although it will always come back out eventually, it can cause panic.

I have used hard boiled eggs as well.

I know this happens are for the people involved its fairly scary, but I can't help but laugh every time I picture this in my head.

"It's not in there."

I think what struck me so funny is them having to leave, and the egg deciding to come out at the worst possible time.
You know...like in the middle of a major meeting of investors, or something.

I had a simular thing happen with a sub and I was laughing my ass off about it... the poor thing.

Isn't that the point to some degree?

I mean, we do have to do the heavy stuff; swinging the flogger, dripping the wax, playing with the on/off button on the TENS unit, trying to find the remote to the cordless vibrator which is turned on full blast and that you "mistakenly" lost. ("Oh, its over there? Cause I'm pretty sure I left it over here. Ah well, guess we'll just have to wait for the batteries to die, won't we?")

If you google up "remote control vibrating egg" you should find several examples to choose from and be able to comparison shop. They're a good shape even for anal play (they stay in MUCH better than regular butt plugs) and the remote control makes it all so much more fun.

If you're into actual eggs, you may enjoy http://www.amazon.com/Story-Eye-Georges-Bataille/dp/0872862097. I have a unique BlackSunProducts crop/slapper that was designed with that story in mind. I love it. The maker fitted a fake eyeball with lashes into the end of the handle. It's not an egg, but it makes me think of that story when I use it.

Thank you for the info. I just read a review on the egg and it states that the remote doesn't work well (if at all) when it is inserted anally. Have you found this to be a issue as well? Or, has it worked ok for you? Just curious becuase I would want it mostly for anal and if the remote won't work....then it defeats the purpose. I would appreciate hearing your experience regarding this.

Mine works. I always always use a condom for ease of removal, but it works just fine.
