I've been having trouble understanding unwarranted and unnecessary vitriol today.
I guess it's just my lesson of the day.
I'm not sure what I learned from it though.
Except how important it is to be kind to others.
Unless of course, you just feel like acting an a**.

The lesson is; you will get what you ask for.
 
When you are sincere in your quest for help, you will be answered in kind.
 
When you are faulty, either by choice or ignorance, you will be presented with a lesson to inspire you to act as you request.

Not always.
I watched someone I look up to be flippant, and, imo, rather cruel to children today for no reason other than he was bigger and he could.
I came to this thread and watched people be unnecessarily rude to someone who was only being friendly.
So, sincerity isn't always enough.
Not nearly so, apparently.

The sincerity is on the part of the asker. Sometimes we are taught some extremely hard lessons, by rather violent means; it sucks. Ignoring the lesson only makes it worse.
 
It is important to remember, we are all connected; sometimes we get mixed up in someone else’s lesson and mistake it for ours.
 
There is always something useful to learn, one just has to look for it.
