Everything we do from the deep of our heart, will look wonderful in the eyes of the One we belong to.
Big surprises stays in Her memory forever, little attentions draws a smile on Her face during the daily routine.
Both will give our Sweetheart the same message: You are my everything.

To my far away Princess
I’d give my all for your love tonight
Baby can you feel me
Imagining I’m looking in your eyes
I can see you clearly
Vividly emblazoned in my mind
And yet you’re so far
Like a distant star
I’m wishing on tonight

MsK told me to put up a short story from just before our recent trip to Savannah...

We were at RiteAid getting some quick travel supplies two nights before we flew out. And the weekend prior MsK had gotten Her hair cut...She has "textured" hair and generally needs a product in it to make sure She doesn't look like a show poodle. She hasn't found anything that She LOVES for that purpose yet.

So here we are just walking along and She's telling me get this get that and I fetch good. And Then She tells me to go get what I need...and so I go down to the shampoo area and stop on the way looking at the hair products available...and completely forget that I'm getting something for me.

So She comes around the corner asking what's taking me so long and I have like four different bottles of stuff in my hand and stilllooking for things. Next thing I hear is ...

"Are you looking for stuff for Me?"

"Uh huh."

I swear She hasn't smiled like that in a while...She bit me really hard and told me not to drop anything. It was just one of those moments. It's simple and you wouldn't think twice about it until it's happening.

I agree with everything that has been said, particularly about being most appreciative of the things that just seem to happen and I don't notice them until she's not around:

the coffee is ready for me to push the button in the morning on the machine
dishwasher is loaded and run
garbage and recycling are out and there is a new bag in the can

or this weekend when I was taking my normal long walk with a close friend early in the morning and my boi was meant to be sleeping, I got home to find that she'd been cleaning all morning and the house was amazing...

but this week -- the big thing, we both have 6 days off and had been back and forth on several ideas on what to do with the time, and finally on Sunday evening she looked at me and said "do you want to go see your mother"

going to see my Mother, WITH me, is a chore I don't wish on the most devoted slave -- I am beyond a handful around my aging and frustrating Mother -- it was an amazing and selfless offer, she knows what she's in for, including the 16 hour drive that she will do, as I don't like driving

visiting my Mother is a chore for me, but I do it as often as possible, because she's my Mother and I love her

that means more to me than any I love you right now

just one more --

Valentine's Day... we're on the road and I just received the first (so I'm told) of the day's surprises... a puzzle that I put together in my lap... with a poem about how much I am loved...

she did it all, found the poem (not an original) and created the file... and printed, pasted and cut the puzzle out...

yeah, it made me cry...

That was so sweet. Brought a smile to my face. Thank you for sharing.
