I feel like I might have answered this just a few days ago, lol, but I guess it was somewhere else.
Anyway, I am very very very picky about what I am called. I HATE being called Mistress by some unknown slave. It cheapens the meaning of it in My eyes. I reserve that for the few that will ever wear a collar by Me. I say right in My profile, I wont even take you seriously if you call Me Mistress. It states clearly that Ma'am is alright and I am known by Governess. Most of the time when My slaves are talking to Me, they will call Me Ma'am, once and a while they might say Governess. If they are speaking OF Me, then they always use Governess, as Ma'am is rather confusing if you are trying to get across who you are talking about. I have also had the odd slave that will call Me Syr, I dont mind that either.
I dont ever permit a slave to use My first name, or any kind of term of endearment that might make Me sick,,,,such as baby or honey, ,,,I will cut them down at the knees for that, I find it highly disrespectful. I know that some like it, and to each their own, I am not saying its wrong, I just DONT like it. If we are out in public, Ma'am is fine, or if in a situation where that is just impossible to use, I prefer they dont call Me anything at all, just say what they need to say, without addressing Me.
