Despite my attempt at a humorous post earlier, I just wanted to say that really, getting to a healthy weight and remaining there is a lifestyle thing - there are dangers in fad diets and quick weightloss regimes, and these can be more than just putting it all back on later. We had a feature on the local news tonight; a lady who was 20 stone at 22 years of age. She went on a mad dash to lose weight and was just 5 stone a year later, emaciated and with an unhealthy eating disorder. She's now 9 stone and getting better but the disorder remains with her. If it took five years to put the weight on, allow at least half that time to get it off again. E
