What do you like best or least about
BDSM. What would you do if you

Do you mean BDSM literally as in bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism?

Or are you using it more broadly as a synonym for "kinky culture"?

That is not that simple a question to answer.

I would have to answer conceptually and say that the best part is meeting someone who you click with amazingly in your BDSM dynamic.

The worst part is meeting someone who you click with amazingly in your BDSM dynamic and NOT in the other important life areas.

So, for me, it is the blessing/curse of being into this and the difficulty in finding the right balance with someone.

I like the power dynamic.
I like the look in her eyes when she peers up at me.
I like listening to the sounds she makes when I get her going just right.
I like the way she flushes when I call her a slut.
I like the way the sweat beads down her back when shes tied up.
I like watching her eyes fall to half mast as shes going under.
But most of all I like the way she lights up when I compliment her on a task well done.
Whats not to like?

If I managed to get and give everything I want, there's nothing that I wouldn't like.  Realistically, its all about the compromise up to a point, some things just aren't compromisable.

What I like least is the lack of common definitions.  So many debates and miscommunications because we lack a definative source.  Someday, unless I'm beaten to it, I'd like to see it.

What I like best is that we are always learning.
Maybe even better, finding others that get me.

I like the examination of one's self and one's interaction with other humans.

What I dislike is the snotty attitude of what constitutes membership in the community.

what do i love about BDSM .... being able to have everything delicious about Vanilla .. with the added tasty goodness of dark chocolate sauce and sprinkles ....(its a metaphor ok .. run with it) ...

what do I hate about BDSM ... the I am BDSMier than thou attitude of many involved .... and the fact that in order not to be accused of being a toppy little princess by the above named group I have to present myself as a vapid, vacant, wet, hopeless, helpless being with no tastes or desires of my own and no ability to cope without an all powerful and all knowing Master to save me from myself.

For me, bdsm activities allow me to feel at a core level and release all the base and basic animal instincts that one surpresses as a civilized person.  It allows me to feel more intensity, more sensations; it awakes my senses in a way nothing else does.  It touches all of me, tactile, mental, emotional, spiritual.

Sometimes I have a problem with a fact that we try to explain BDSM, instead of enjoying. FOr me personally I just try to enjoy it ...and not try to explain why I do this and that.
(on the other side...if we do...then it is nice and interesting to read)

I love the toys.....human and inanimate.

I dislike the users who hide behind the need for many in the lifestyle to guard their privacy.

I dislike the people who make hiding necessary.

What I like least is abuse and dishonesty running rampant...but it does that in the vanilla world too.

What I like most is the unity of people into kink.
It's like we are one big extended family.

I love that we all come together from different walks of life, religious points of view, & social status points and stand shoulder to shoulder knowing we are connected.

Wow, its a love  hate I guess--
 
I love the fact that its more public, yet I hate that because its become everyone's latest gig.
 
I like the fact that when I discovered more about it through the internet guiding Me to books, I went ahhhhh, I'm not a freak.  It just feels right.
 
I like what I am.
 
I like a sense of community, although I hate that at times as with all human interests, cliques and opinions about ( well I have one too so...)
 
 I like the feel of a nice balanced flogger in My hand.
 
I like watching societal mores fly from his soul.
 
I don't like the beliefs that are being bastardized.
