Hello, I am new here. I haven’t put much information about myself in my profile yet as I am too paranoid at this stage (lol I think I have trust issues). I guess if I develop acceptance here I may feel more open. Who knows I might even put a photograph up here too lol. I am not a part of any BDSM community, but have been ‘playing’ on and off for some time. When I say ‘playing’ I am not really sure at this stage just how much submission I am comfortable with and I think (well I know) I am prone to switch. I am a very strong woman and I am struggling with it all at the moment as I don’t know how far I can take this. There are some things I don’t think I could ever let someone else take control over. I guess I can’t see myself taking this outside of ‘play’. My mother was the original feminist and women in my family were brought up to do anything a man could 10 times as well…. Sounds like a bit of a battle doesn’t it…. I wish we were brought up to respect our differences instead. Anyway if anyone of the men I work with were to find out I had submissive tendencies I think their jaw would fall so far it would hit the ground with a thud so hard it would splinter the concrete beneath. Needless to say there haven’t been that many men in my life who have been clued in enough to spot it. Others have been horrified. I now have an open minded partner who is very keen to travel the road to discovery. He has his work cut out for him, because he hasn’t had much experience and given I am capable of putting most men into a position of submission in my area of business without even thinking, I tend to bring a lot of these qualities home without thinking. It will be difficult for him to develop the confidence to manage me in the way I am sure he would like. I have done some searching around the place and have seen a lot of talk of pretenders in general when it comes to talk of BDSM lifestyle (I haven’t see much here yet). I don’t want to be placed in this category as I tend to think it is a relative concept and means different things to different people. Well I hope I can learn something here and also contribute in some positive way.
