so many responses!  and so many wonderful ones too, thank Y/you all so very much.  the ones that i managed to read last night made me feel so much better and i actually made it to bed with a smile and i woke up with a smile too.

two things.

firstly, to the one who said that to my child, i'm the world.  my son came to me this morning and told me how much he loved me.  he doesn't do that very often because he's usually throwing a temper about having to go to school, but this morning, he came up to me, hugged me tight and told me that he loved me, holding his arms right out to say how much.

secondly, one of the fellas from yesterday on the bus on the way back.  i could have thanked the Gods a million times over for that!  i passed by him in the aisle and the response i got was well, more than pleasing.  you know when guys do that suck the tongue thing when they like what they see and he even had the gaul to talk to me.  i told him to go home and grow a set.  how sweet the taste of revenge!

anyways, just wanted to let Y/you all know that Y/you've made me smile and i'm ever grateful.  thank Y/you

Ya know, it's always something.  i had a friend when i was younger who complained that she never got dates because men were intimidated by her looks and intelligence. (Yes, she was gorgeous and brilliant--what a curse)  it is true that everyone has a category or area where some knucklehead will find a reason not to want to be with them.  Find another knucklehead, there are plenty of us out here.
not to tell You what to do, but---Have the best day You ever had.

I know of men who have made such comments and is not my business what the reasoning was but..

I feel the same say but towards single dads (of minor children).  I have no interest in rearing more children. These guys have an obligation to put their children first as they should.  They can do that with a woman who wants that job, I don't.

At this age, I prefer a man either have no children at all or they are over the age of majority.

This is what makes it all worthwhile [sm=smile.gif].

I'm glad you are feeling better, ladyraven.
