I think liks2plz has a valid point that I agree with.  If you are owned property in a TPE relationship then all of your property also belongs to your master or mistress.  Demanding tribute seems crass to me, on the other hand I know that as a Dom I would, and have, enjoyed receiving gifts of material things from submissives.  Money seems impersonal to me, but if she takes the time to find something that I can appreciate the fact that she has invested a fair amount of money in it is going to impress me.

Fuck, man. What I really want is someone that I can pay to kiss. Seriously.
Why has that never been thought of before?  Or does it exist, and I'm just not aware of it? And if so, where does one go to find such a thing?

I agree that wanting to help out your submissive is a good thing, and vise-versa, but for me it sort of feels like prostitution on some level.  As a musician, I have found other musicians that would never dream of taking their passion in what they do and turn it into a job.  The art and the feelings that come from it outweigh the idea of turning it into a career move.  One person I know was chased by Yamaha, Kawai and a couple of other instrument manufactures and he said that he'd just as soon stop  playing all together than take the passion out it by being obligated.  I suppose that one could love what they do and make it a career, but I feel BDSM is more personal than that.  Sure we'd all like to get more money these days, but I sort of think it takes away some of the intimacy.  I'm not targeting the Pro-Dom/Dommes, what bothers me is the one's who use tribute outside of that Pro-realm.  I do appreciate all the fine points that y'all are making here though, and respect your opinions greatly.  Thanks! span.jajahWrapper { font-size:1em; color:#B11196; text-decoration:underline; } a.jajahLink { color:#000000; text-decoration:none; } span.jajahInLink:hover { background-color:#B11196; }
