I agree that wanting to help out your submissive is a good thing, and vise-versa, but for me it sort of feels like prostitution on some level. As a musician, I have found other musicians that would never dream of taking their passion in what they do and turn it into a job. The art and the feelings that come from it outweigh the idea of turning it into a career move. One person I know was chased by Yamaha, Kawai and a couple of other instrument manufactures and he said that he'd just as soon stop playing all together than take the passion out it by being obligated. I suppose that one could love what they do and make it a career, but I feel BDSM is more personal than that. Sure we'd all like to get more money these days, but I sort of think it takes away some of the intimacy. I'm not targeting the Pro-Dom/Dommes, what bothers me is the one's who use tribute outside of that Pro-realm. I do appreciate all the fine points that y'all are making here though, and respect your opinions greatly.
