Okay so i have seen this type of luggage before, and i really really want one.. but i have no idea what they are called.
i have been using search engines to try and figure out what they are called, and so far what i have come up with is one solo picture.  Does A/anyone have any idea what these things are called or where i could buy one?  Thanks =)

Note: i have no idea how to get this picture to work.. eek.

I know it is some kind of 'trunk' but all I can think of is steamer trunk.. and I don't think that's what it is lol. But my grandmother had several and all were referenced as trunks.

I would try Ebay for something like this, or spend some time googling antique luggage. Another thing I just thought of, the things that door to door sales people used for samples. Some of those were totally cool and cleverly made. I know they still make trunks, it is possible you could find a craftsperson adept with cabinet making and have an insert done. Maybe even an entire trunk done to spec. Now I want one! I'm glad you asked because you brought back some nice memories, I didn't know my grandmother very well but this brought her back a bit.

I don't know that steamer trunks typically have wheels, if that's important.

There are  the wardrobe cases that  musicians, etc, use on the road.

cheers

It is very easy to attach wheels, I've done it to a trunk in my living room that I use as a coffee table. All it took was four wheels (like one would have on a furniture dolly) and an electric screw driver.

We saw one at the Louis Vuitton store in Aruba but it was $45,000...lol....I also read where Hermes made one for its boutique in NYC that sold for $200,000.

A modern style tunk that you could outfit with storage boxes yourself might work. Here's a link to some with wheels.

If you don't want to add wheels you could always use a hand truck/dolly. If your toy collection is really big you can get a pallet and step up to a pallet jack.
