ProlificNeeds -> Simulating electrolysis sensation? (2/7/2008 10:03:53 AM)

Wasn't sure exactly where to post this so I'm just throwing it out here in general.
I had my first session of electrolysis yesterday, and after reflecting on the sensations provided, I'm wondering if the particular stinging burn can be replicated with a different form of electrical (or other) form of play, without actually reproducing the tedium of electrolysis itself. I'm interested in experiencing the sensation elsewhere on the body and under different context, but lack experience with electrical play and burning. Can anyone think of a similar sensation that can be reproduced during play?

I'm don't know what electrolysis feels like, but a violet wand with one of those pom pom lookin' things that are metallic (can't think of the name) produces a sensation similar to what you describe.

I have had electrolysis and electrical play.  I find the sensations to be different.  Electrolysis actually works beneath the skin and violet wands work on top of the skin.  I do not like electrolysis but do love the violet wand.  [:D]

Hmm it's hard to describe really, it's like a quick sharp burning sting under the surface of the skin. It's never worse than the pinch of a needle in the arm at first, but as the skin heats I found the sting increased quite a bit.

I'll have to look for some unique violet wand attachments, something spikey just might come close. Does a violet wand actually have the ability to produce heat in the skin?

It stings like sparks hitting your skin, not like fire.  I don't know if it can make a burning feeling inside the skin.  Afterwards it doesn't feel burning (like a sunburn) but super tingly - like your electrons are all upset, much less than what it would feel like right after you stuck your finger in a wall socket, but along the lines of that sort of buzzy discomfort.  I find it pretty freaky.  We haven't had a chance to play with it much due to having limited privacy until April 1.  I'm looking forward to spring!

Sounds worth trying out even if it doesn't seem like the same thing.

Have had both, having electrolysis again next week on genitals.  Can be quite similar with the right probe used with a violet wand.  The actual sensation however is unique to the electrolysis, kind of a flash hit of pain and then mellows out quickly.  Kind of smarts when she is clearing the scrotum area and the needle hits a testicle, the sharp pain will radiate through the testicle for a fraction of a second.

Hmm I considered getting electrolysis for other regions but decided not to, the option to grow hair back later down the road is one I'd like to keep.

You would dig the Violet wand , you may also enjoy a tens unit .Another  thing i have tried was a blank tattoo gun with a shade needle .
